prologue

  " Yuri!! Have you seen him?!" I ran to my best friend who was trying to watch birds with her binoculars.

" god! Don't scream, You scared that pretty bird! And who is him?" she asked scolding me for scaring her birds.

" him.. heeseung.." I whispered looking around to see if my other classmates heard me.

"oh him ? I think he went with pearl.. she lost her chain or something.."

" she lost something? Why didn't you go with her?"

" she didn't asked me.. I just saw them talking and go that away.." She pointed the muddy path which we took earlier to come here. " but why? Wait! Don't tell me you!"

" ahh! Not so loud!"

" Hwang Seri! Kim Yuri !! keep quite! We are here for bird watching! Not to hear your chit-chat!" the teacher scold us and we apologized.

" you are doing it now?" Yuri whispered to me as we walked little away from our classmates who were giving us dirty looks.

" I mean.. this is the right time. Don't you think? We will be going home tomorrow morning. Once in the school, I'll never have any chance to get him alone with me." I whispered back to Yuri.

"yeah, go for it then! All the best!" Yuri wished me luck.

" thank you!" I thank her as I sneak away from our group to follow heeseung.

This year was the last year of me in this school, My 10th grade. After this we all will go our different ways for higher studies and I didn't wanted to have any regrets after it. I had transferred in this 'A' school in my 2nd grade. shy and scared of the new environment Kim Yuri was my first friend. We have been best friends since that day. I met lee heeseung in the third grade when we changed the divisions. He was one of the intelligent student and class president. For almost nine years I have known him and he never failed to impress me.

Though I thought he was good person I didn't fell for him until I was in the 8th grade. we were desk mates for two years now. In my little world which contained little amount of people. Lee heeseung was the superstar. He was always helpful and kind to me.. always helping me out in school work. He was just perfect guy and I couldn't help but fall for him.

Today we were on our 2 days 1 night school trip to these mountains. And I have decided to confess my love towards heeseung today. While everyone was bored watching and climbing the mountain I was walking to where heeseung and our classmate pearl was. My heart was beating fast as I saw the glimpses of heeseung's side profile behind the big tree. I clutch tightly on chocolate and card I had prepared for him in nervousness as I slowly walked in his direction.

The closer I got the louder I feel my heartbeat. I was about to confess to my crush!

" hee-!"

" I like you! Lee heeseung!" I stopped in the middle as I heard pearl's voice.

" I liked you from a long time! Heeseung..." she says again.

I can't believe this.. why pearl?!

" you don't have to answer now.. I will accept whatever your-"

" I like you too."

I gasp as I hear heeseung's answer.

" who's there?" I quickly hide behind the big rock not letting them notice me.

I hear the leaves crunch telling me they were getting close to me and I hold my breath covering my mouth with both of my hands.

" ah!" I hear the yelp of pearl who probably stumbled on the rocks and roots covering the mountain grounds.
