Wow, it's been a while huh? Where did we leave off... ok so you saw me and Noah riding our motorcycles together.. sweet. After that, we had a nice talk and actually we reminisced about the good times but sadly, we didn't manage to patch things back up, we didn't leave on bad terms but Noah chose the job in New York, and I'm still here in LA, which is fine I've learned to live without Noah Flynn.. which is sad, but I've had no choice.
I have a new boyfriend now, his name is Jake we've been dating for a few months. He's sweet, he gets along with dad and Brad which is nice too.. and Noah has moved on too.. or so I've seen on Instagram. I guess you could say life is pretty.. different right now. Im still best friends with lee incase you guys were wondering, he's still my world and I am still his. Anyways I'm currently heading out to Lee and Rachel's house to help with their "super spectacular" wedding, as Lee says, this should be great.. I mean what could go wrong? I'm sure we will find out.

I walked into Lee and Rachel's house, I don't knock, they know me this is like basically my house too, I looked around to find a very enthusiastic Lee and Rachel going over seating plans in their kitchen when he spots me
"Hey buddy! How are you, it's been so long" lee smirked, he was being sarcastic we legit seen each other just yesterday.
"Dude.. get a grip it's not even been 24 hours. Have you guys got anything else to sort out before the wedding? It's coming by real soon"
"Exactly 7 days 1 whole week! And I get to call this handsome hunk my husband" Rachel screeched with excitement, I rolled my eyes and chuckled they're such dorks. Doesn't matter our age, they've not changed at all.
"Handsome hunk huh??? Speaking of handsome hunks... is Jake coming to the wedding or not?" Lee asked, I think he was slightly concerned, he knows my past with Noah was super intense.. he knows I'm nervous to bring someone new around Noah.
"Ermmm actually, he is.. I mean I figured it's been a while right? Surely no one will mind.. right?" I laughed nervously.
"Elle, you can't just pretend you don't have a new life just because your.. old life will be there" ..he was referring to Noah, and he's right, I'm always nervous to see Noah, he was my first.. I don't think I'll ever be able to forget my feelings for him. Even if I do have someone new.. "Hello earth to elle?" Lee said, clicking his fingers in my face
My mind got lost in thinking about him.. even still He just has this crazy hold over me. But like Lee said, I have a new boyfriend now I need to respect that.
"Sorry, I was just-" I was cut off
"Overthinking"  Rachel replied for me, she was right.
"Ok guys but seriously, me and Jake will be there you don't have to worry" truth is.. I've not even asked him yet. 
And speaking of the devil, my phone started ringing it was Jake, I excused myself and answered the phone.
"Hey you, what's up?" I was surprised really, he was meant to be at work.
"I just got off early, and I'm on my way to the store do you want me to pick up the snacks for date night tonight?"
"Yeah sure, I'll be home in an few, I'm just at lee's"
"More wedding talk hey? Ok babe, it's my turn to choose the movie tonight so looks like it's something spooky" he laughed
"As you wish honey, I'll see you soon.. bye"
I hung up with a strange gut feeling. Not sure if it was the thought of Noah, or what but I'm sure I'll get over it. I got a hold of myself and walked back into Lee and Rachel.
"So are we still good for tomorrow? I'm hosting dinner here, everyone will be here at 6 just wear something nice, incase we all decide to go out for drinks after"
"Yeah of course, no worries. I'm gonna head back home now, if you think of anything you need for the wedding let me know"
It was only a short visit, but we live just a few blocks away from each other so it's nothing. I walked home with only one thought in mind.. Noah.
This is bad so so bad, it's date night. And Jake has been nothing but sweet to me I need to get a grip it's been 7 years.

I finally reached home, I walked in and was greeted to a massive kiss on the lips and flowers, Jake really was sweet that's actually the reason I'm with him in the first place. We met on one rainy night i was coming home from work, I didn't have a coat and I locked my car keys inside my car, typical Elle style haha he gave me his coat and even helped me break into my own car to get the keys back out. After that we exchanged numbers and we hit it off from there really, been together ever since.
I hugged him tightly, he made me feel safe, but still I had this gut feeling I couldn't shake.
We finally got down to watch the movie, he chose Halloween, I hate this movie it scares the gajeebers out of me, but he likes it so I just went with it. I figured, This may be a good time to ask Jake if he would be my plus one too Lee's wedding so I just went for it
"So babe.. I was thinking, maybe you could come with me to Lee and Rachel's wedding? It's next Friday you could you know.. be my date" I wrapped my arms around him tightly.
"Oh, erm sure if you want me to go I will, I'll just have to make sure I can get it off work at short notice" he smiled and pecked me on the lips once, I smiled back at him then faced back to watch the movie ok, so that part is over, I'm sure it will all be nice and we will have a great time I'm just being silly, me and Noah haven't been together for years, he's not even going to remember we dated I'm sure of it! We finished the movie and I went straight up to bed, got a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

-THE NEXT DAY-
I woke up to an empty bed, Jake had already left for work, I had a cheeky lye in as I have some time off work for my besties wedding. It's currently 10am Today is dinner day, and final seating arrangements, Lee just basically needs my help with anything to do with this wedding, he is hopeless. I'm sure I will have to be at lee's earlier too, just because I'm sure he can't set up this dinner either. I rolled out of bed, brushed my teeth and showered and went about my morning routine of laundry, and household chores... exciting right? Haha that's the joys of being an adult! 
The time flew by, before I knew it it was 5pm, I chose my outfit, I wore a black smock dress with a pair of docs, I doubt I will be needing anything nicer than that.
And before I knew it it was time to leave for Lee's, lucky he lives just a few blocks away so I don't need to drive.
I walked straight through the door, I could already tell lee was all over the place, dinner was on the stove which Rachel was cooking, lee was putting out the plates half dressed, it was 5:30 everyone will be here in half an hour... "dude let me help you with that Go get dressed" I pulled a plate out of Lee's hand to place it down on the large dinner table. "Oh dude you're a life saver!! Thank you" he kissed my forehead and ran around the door way "you owe me one" I laughed and continued to place down the plates along with knifes and forks "oh shit Elle, I forgot to mention can you grab two extra dinner plates also? Noah is coming and is bringing a guest"
Holy fucking shit..
I didn't expect this... I wasn't mentally prepared, I've not seen this boy in a whole year. My mind was doing a 180, and before I knew it.. there he was.. Noah Flynn.
