Lila didn't how to feel about this.
Marinette wanted to be her friend. A side of her told her this was a bad idea while the other side told her to trust Marinette.
She just sighed to herself.
Another day came and another moment of suffering for the Italian girl. She rose out of bed looking at her room. The lies she'd made for herself clawing at her thought and mind. She knew what she was doing was bad yet couldn't stop.
She got out of bed brushing her teeth and fixing her hair. She sighed to herself as she got out being met with reality. Her mother in the kitchen yelling over the phone at the man she called her father. Gerald Rossi had been absent on his duty as a father only ever showing his presence through checks of thousands of euros. A child wasn't enough to keep this family going and Lila knew that her presence only bothered her parents. Her mother hung up with a few curses. She noticed her daughter at the door and glared at her.

"What're you waiting for? Don't you have school," Lila looked away.

"It was dad wasn't it?" Her mother groaned.

"Quite asking questions and just go," she said. Lila nodded walking out holding her head low. She stopped before the doors of her apartment slowly taking a few breaths.
Time to put the mask back on.
She arrived at school and was immediately submerged and surrounded. She smiled and chatted as though whatever she had before had never happened. She laughed innocently as people awed at the adventures she told. Things that never happened and that would only happen in a dream.

"Wow Lila your like is so dreamy!"

"Yeah! I wish I had famous parents like yours," she clenched her bag.

"Yeah, my parents are so boring, they always wanna spend time with me!"For a second she felt dull inside. She didn't like any of this. Her situation was nothing to envy. She sighed closing her eyes.

"Excuse me?" Her eyes shot open. She turned her head around seeing Marinette. The brunette held a smile as she grabbed her hand.

"Sorry guys, Lila and I have plans," she grinned. Lila let herself be taken from the crowd and over to the girls bathroom. Inside Marinette sighed. Lila looked away feeling a little ashamed. Just yesterday she'd promised to stop lying like this. That's when Marinette bursted out laughing.

"You should've seen their faces," she laughed. Lila blushed even more embarrassed.

"M-Marinette!" She said trying to get her to stop. Marinette sighed as she finally stopped.

"You know, you should become a lawyer, you're pretty good at these," Lila looked away with a pout.

"But don't use your lies to hide how you feel," she looked back up. Marinette held a compassionate face.

"Something is bothering you, I can tell," Lila clenched her bag.

"You know you can tell me anything," she said. Lila felt like crying. She hated her life so much. Without noticing she felt herself tear up. Marinette sighed walking up to her wrapping her arms around her. Lila silently cried on her shoulder the emotions she'd been holding back. A few minutes later Marinette looked down at her.

"Better?" She nodded rubbing her eyes as she pulled away. The two got out sitting on a bench. They didn't talk about much and it was mostly Marinette talking but Lila appreciated it. She liked to listen to her. Because Marinette was always trust worthy and truthful.

"Hey you have something on your face," Lila snapped out assuming it was just a tear stain. Marinette's held out her hand to her face and she froze. A warm hand brushed against her skin. She flushed a few shades and her heart beat got faster.

"It was just a lash look," she looked at the small fiber on her finger.

"Make a wish," Lila looked away for a second. Marinette assumed she didn't want to and went to blow it when she caught her wrist blowing on the finger catching the latter off guard. He retracted her hands tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Marinette only laughed at her attitude.

"So? What was it?" Lila shook her head.

"Right, smart one, if you tell me it won't become true," she said. The bell rang signaling the start of school. Marinette grabbed her bag waving as she ran to first period. Lila sat there for a second thinking about her wish.
I wish to stay with you, til death do us apart
