Lila sat in the back alone as usual. But she didn't care. Her eyes were focused on a certain girl in her class. She was so focused. She didn't hear her name being called.

"Lila Rossi!" She jumped standing up.

"Y-Yes?!" Everyone laughed at her attitude. She blushed looking away. The teacher sighed.

"You're in group B for this project, be sure to focus please," she nodded. She looked at the board as they wrote the names down. Her eyes widened. She was in Marinette's group. She silently rejoiced at the idea. As the bell rang she went to her table.

"Hey Marinette," the brunette looked up with a smile Lila found endearingly beautiful.

"Hey good to know we're on the same team!" She said patting her shoulder. Lila nodded excitedly. That's when Alya wrapped an arm around her friend's shoulder pulling her over. Lila frowned. Alya Césaire was Marinette's best friend. Or so she'd heard. She didn't have any personal problem with Alya but seeing how close she was to Marinette. She clenched her jaw but shook off the jealousy.

"Yeah! And you know who else is on the team?" She looked between them confused. Alya grinned pointing to the seats up front. Lila looked over seeing Adrien Agreste. He was a nice guy, she'd learned from other people that he was a model and quite famous. She looked back at the two still confused until she saw the face Marinette made. Her face was red and eyes glistening as she eyed the boy. Lila's face contorted from sadness to anger. Who even was that boy?! Clearly he wasn't as important as the rumors said. Yet... If Marinette was indeed in love with him... No, no she couldn't be. Marinette couldn't be in love-

"Do you like him?" She blurted out. Lila turned a slight red shade as they both looked at her. Marinette flushed a deep shade of red.

"Like? Pfft she doesn't 'like' him, she LOVES-"

"Alya!" Lila clenched her bag. A feeling of bitterness settled in her gut. She didn't like this. Marinette liking Adrien. She frowned at the simple thought. She didn't like this new feeling.

"You girls ready?" They turned around to Nino and Adrien.

"Yeah! Let's go to the library!" The way was full of chatting. Lila being at the behind Adrien and Marinette who were talking peacefully. She bit her bottom lip. Adrien seemed to realise as he turned around to see her glaring at them.

"You alright Lila?" She opened her mouth to talk when Marinette looked at her and she put up a smile shaking her head.

"I'm good, just a little tired," Marinette frowned.

"Really? Should I take you to the nurses," she waved her hand.

"No I'm fine," Adrien nodded going back to his conversation. Marinette though wasn't convinced. Knowing Lila she was absolutely hiding something.

"Sorry Adrien," she said taking a step back to walk beside Lila. The girl dropped the frown as she saw her friend had dropped her crush.

"Marinette-"

"Something is bothering you, what is it?" She asked. Lila bit her lip. She opened her mouth to reply when a rumbling echoed. Everyone looked up as an akuma villain appeared.

"Crap! Everyone get in here!" Adrien yelled ushering them into the library. Lila went in when she didn't see Marinette anymore.

"Marinette?" She frowned. She looked through the crowd unable to see her. Her heart beat picked up when she couldn't see her. She didn't know when but she stood up running out just as they were about to close the door.
She tried calling her out when a piece of the ceiling almost fell on her. She braced herself when she felt her body lifted. As she opened her eyes she was met with the most beautiful pair of blue eyes ever. Her heart skipped a beat as she was set back down.

"You need to get to safety, what are you even doing out here?!" The Parisian heroin said. She recognized her thanks to her suit. The ladybug hero.

"You're, Ladybug," she said in utter shock. She'd heard a lot about her but never even believed she'd see her in real life.

"Yup, I'm guessing you're looking for your friend Marinette?" She nodded snapping out as she said her name.

"Yes! Have you seen her?" The girl nodded.

"Yeah, she's safe don't worry, you go and hide too!" She said before swinging off. Lila stood there for a moment watching her fly off to fight a hand on her still beating heart. She sighed to herself. She definitely liked this new feeling.
