Y/N dropped the phone on the bed and made her way to her wardrobe once again. She looked through for a light jacket to wear. Multiple jackets caught her eye, but she decided on her classic fluffy white jacket that stopped in the middle of her waist.

It complimented the outfit well, she looked good. After a few last-minute sprays of perfume and deodorant she was outside waiting for Sapnap as she clutched her small purse. It wasn't expensive and only had her phone, a little money and pepper spray in case of emergencies.

After a few minutes, her gaze was lifted as she saw bright lights illuminate the road in front of her. She slid her phone back into the purse as she waved at the familiar car, seeing the boy she always wanted to.

Nervous.

That was the only feeling she had, sure, they were close online but it was different now it was face to face. She shook off the feeling and smiled at him as he pulled up in front of her.

The car door opened as the man stepped out, they were similar heights but it didn't stop the engulfing hug they gave each other. Both of them laughed as they embraced each other, finally meeting face to face.

"Holy shit. You look better in real life!" Y/N laughed as she pulled away, observing his outfit and he gave a spin.

"I could say the same for you," Sapnap laughed. "I'm so glad I get to see you now, oh my god dude."

Y/N just smiled and entered the car, Sapnap followed and sat in the driver's seat. Both the doors locked and he immediately began to drive, his hand carefully steering the wheel.

There was a comfortable silence as they both appreciated the feeling of finally meeting the other. Y/N couldn't do anything but watch as he drove through the empty streets in the night, it was so sentimental.

"You excited?" Sapnap broke the silence as they stopped at a red light. He turned slightly to see her face better.

"Nervous, but yeah, excited." Y/N chuckled, still a bit shy. "What about you?"

"Most of my nervousness was just meeting you, so I'm just excited now," Sapnap responded as he focused back in the road, having to drive as the light turned green. "You don't have to be shy around me, let's just let that part go."

"If only it were that easy-"

"Y/N we gotta stick together during the party, unless you don't want to, but I think you will... so we gotta be comfortable."

Something about his words made Y/N cackle up, her laughter making Sapnap laugh too.

"Y/N- what did I even say?!" Sapnap laughed, slightly snorting.

"I-I don't know- it's just so fu-funny. You went, like, dad mode-" Y/N cried out.

"How? Oh my god." Sapnap rolled his eyes and tried to suppress the smile evident on his lips.

He was over the moon to meet Y/N, it was like meeting Dream in real life for a second time. The laughter, getting closer, slight awkwardness... everything just made him so joyous inside. However, despite how he couldn't tell her, he did have some concerns with her at the party.

He quickly glanced to Y/N who was daydreaming outside the window which she rolled down, her H/C hair blowing in the wind. He would be around the host of the party himself, and Dream wasn't the most keen on Y/N the last time he'd mentioned her for the SMP, but maybe it wasn't anything personal?

It was a tough decision between, in the worst-case scenario, going with Dream or comforting Y/N. He'd have to decide at the moment, in case it did happen. Surely not though, right?

Soon enough the faint blasting of music, smell of alcohol and doughnuts and illuminating lights which filled the dark sky filled their senses.

"We're here," Sapnap said, blowing out a breath he didn't realise he was holding. "This is the moment."

Y/N cheered as she eagerly leapt out the car door as soon as the car was put in park. She waited patiently for Sapnap to step out, and when he finally did they both just stood there, taking in the elegant manor.
