Chapter 3

Valentina's POV

" Valentina "

" Val, wake up hun dinners ready " someone says shaking me awake.

" Huh ? " I say rubbing my eyes looking up.

" I said dinners ready, come to the dining room downstairs " Will says turning to walk out my room.

I slowly start to get out my bed and head to the mirror.

I quickly fix my hair a little bit and head out my room.

" How in the hell do they expect me to find the dining room in this big ass house " I mutter to myself looking around.

As I was walking around the halls, I notice some suspicious things.

There were locks on many doors, and also many security guards.

' They're probably high class people ' I thought to myself.

After about 5 more minutes of wandering, I finally found my way to the dining room.

I walk into the dining room and everyone looks at me.

" Took you long enough Val, did you get lost ? " Will asks.

" Yea, your house is a whole castle " I say taking a seat next to Xander.

" Attention seeker " Xander mutters under his breath.

" Care to say that again dear brother " I say sarcastically turning towards him.

" Im not your brother " Xander says raising his voice.

" Xander " Vincent says in a warning tone.

" No who even is she ? For all I know she could be a slut from the streets trying to get our money- " Xander was saying before he got cut off by my fist hitting his jaw, causing him to fall onto the ground.

" Do-you-wanna-say-that-again " I say in between punches.

He managed to land about 3 hits on me, but I continued to beat the shit out of him. Well until Vincent pulled me off of him.

" No let me go " I say trying to get out of his hold.

" You- Bitc- " Xander says getting up holding his nose.

" THATS ENOUGH YOU TWO. Valentina in my office. NOW " Vincent says as he turns around letting go of me in the process.

As he lets go of me, I quickly look at Xander.

His face was all red and bruised.

' Heh I did that ' I thought to myself.

I then head in the direction where Vincent went.

I stood in front of his offices doors and knocked.

" Come in Valentina " he says in a cold tone.

I open the doors and go in.

" Take a seat " he says pointing at the chair in front of him.

I slowly take the seat where he pointed at.

" So Valentina, we need to go over some rules if you're going to live in this household. Do u understand ? " he said crossing his arms over his chest.

" Sir yes sir " I say sarcastically slouching into the chair.

" Ok first rule, you will speak, and treat your brothers with respect, secondly you will not curse, third, you will not drink, smoke or do any drugs. Fourth, you are not allowed to have any guy friends or boyfriends, and lastly you will maintain good grades at school. Now any questions ? " he says finishing.

" No but can I say something ? " I say sitting up properly.

" Yes go ahead " he says.

" Those rules are complete bullshit. " I say as I feel my frustration grow.

" Valentina-"

" No seriously what the fuck. No guy friends or boyfriends ? What if I was into girls hmm ? " I say crossing my arms over my chest mimicking him.

" Well..uhm " he says as he looks flustered.

" Im just playing with you big-bro, but on a serious note, I'm gonna have guy friends. I connect with guys more then girls. Also you don't need to worry about me having a boyfriend, I don't trust people " I say getting up from the chair heading towards the door.

" I can live with the other rules though, well beside the cursing one. Thats gonna take a bit of work. But other then that sure " I say finally opening the door and leaving.

Great now I have to find my room again.

After about 10 minutes of wandering, I finally found my room.

I opened the door and my eyes immediately landed on the person who was spread out over my bed.

" Damn little sis what you did down there was sick " he says getting up from my bed.

" Thanks..which brother are you again. " I ask walking up to him.

" Leo. I'm hurt that you already forgot about me " he says putting his hand over his heart dramatically faking being hurt.

" Well sorry that theres literally like 10 of y'all. You actually expect me to remember your names and faces after I just met you ? " I say jumping into my bed.

" You right. But anyways I wanted to ask you, I'm going to a skate park tomorrow with some of my friends I was wondering if you wanted to come " he says standing by my door frame.

" Depends on my mood. I'll let you know tomorrow " I say lifting my head out from my pillow.

With that he leave the room, closing the door behind him.

Not even two seconds later, I feel a sharp pain shoot up from my ribs.

" Shit " I mutter clenching my ribs.

I quickly get up and head towards the kitchen.

When I reach the kitchen, I quickly search through the cupboards to see if I could find a bottle of painkillers.

" Come on come on " I say rummaging through the cupboards.

Before I get a change to search another one, a voice pops out from behind me.

" Uhm what are you doing ? " they ask.

I slowly turn around.

The person behind me was Xavier.

" Uhm..well I was looking for painkillers " I say looking down at the floor.

" Oh ok. For what ? " he asks walking up to the cupboards, grabbing a bottle of painkillers.

Crap.

Think think think.

" Well I was trying to get it for Xander because I felt bad for what I did to his face, yea thats what I needed it for " I quickly say reaching for the bottle.

" Oh its ok I can give it to him. " Xavier says moving the bottle away.

" NO, I mean *ahem* no no, I want to bring it to him as you know, an apology " I say reaching for the bottle once again.

" Oh ok, if you want " he says handing me the bottle.

" Thanks, bye " I say taking the bottle and quickly exiting the kitchen.

Hey guys sorry for the long over-due chapter😅. Its kinda been stressful with school happening and with all the homework and tests so im really sorry😖 I write as I go, so I think of stuff when I go write, and with all the work I couldn't think of anything so sorry😭 but I hope this chapter was enjoyable 💕
