To the skatepark I guess...
" Val do you wanna play any music ? " Leo says turning his head towards me from the drivers seat.
I was sitting in the back while Alex got the front seat. " Youngest sits in the back " Leo says. Anyway, back to whatever Leo said.
" Sure " I say patting my pockets, look for my phone.
Crap its not there.
" I must've left it in my room " I say opening the car door.
" Hurry up " Leo says as I slammed the car door shut.
" Kay " I shout back, running back into the house.
I make it back inside the house. I holt my movement as I hear voices. I slowly move closer to hear whats going on.
" Yeah, but Vince, she fu*king flinched when I tried to help her " Xavier says.
' Well shit ' I say to myself, quickly concealing myself behind a wall.
" Xavier everyone flinches, stop thinking so much into things " Vincent says with a sigh.
" No Vince, it wasn't like a normal flinch, it was- " Xavier was saying until he got cut off.
Specifically from me sneezing.
Shit.
I quickly slap my hand over my mouth. You had one job Val, ONE JOB!
" Who's there ? " says Vincent.
I don't say anything, and lean more into the wall.
Then I hear a 'Click'.
I immediately bolted out the house. I never ran so freakin fast in my life. I hopped into the car and slammed the door, panting like a dog.
" You good Val ? " Leo says turning to me, cocking a eyebrow.
" Yea just drive " I say waving him off, trying to catch my breath.
Leo starts the car and backs out the driveway. We drove for about 5 minutes in silence until Alex spoke.
" Where's your phone ? " Alex says.
Crap, I still forgot my phone.
" Uh, I decided to leave it, since we're going to the skatepark I didn't want it to fall and break " I say, attempting to calm down.
I need to learn how to come up with better excuses.
Alex doesn't say anything, instead he just turns and nods his head.
I turn my head the other direction and just stare out the window, getting lost in thought.
15 minutes later we arrive at the skatepark. I open my door, and Leo hands me a skateboard.
" Val come with me, I want you to meet some of my friends " Leo says motioning his head towards the park.
" Rodger that big bro " I say saluting.
We began walking towards the park, as we walked I noticed something.
Alex did even have a skateboard.
" Where's your board Alex ? " I ask.
" Oh, I don't skate " Alex says quietly, shrugging his shoulders.
" Then why'd you come ? " I say laughing a bit.
" I just wanted to spend time with you " he says, turning his head the opposite direction of me.
" Aweee is Alex blushing " Leo says tuning into our conversation.
" S-Shut up Leo " Alex stutters.
" Awee, you wanted to spend time with me " I say slinging my arm over his shoulder, getting a look at his bright red face.
" Yea " he says shortly.
" Ok here we are " Leo says stopping in front of us.
Wow.
This was one big ass park.
