Amity's pov
It was a hot day in the human realm and I was burning alive. Last night me and Luz stayed over at her mum's house. She is very nice but I can't tell her I am a witch and I have to wear this dumb hat to cover my ears which doesn't help the heat. "Morning love" Luz said yawning. "Morning". "Wanna go to the beach as it is very hot today" Luz suggested. "Um well err.............. I have to go to the bathroom". I stutted. I ran out of the bedroom and into the bathroom. I sat down on the floor and started having a panic attack. But what if she sees". I whispered.
Luz's pov
As Amity ran to the bathroom I started to get worried. I walked over to the bathroom to hear her talking to herself. "Amity are you ok". I asked worried. "Yea". Amity said sadly. "Ok". I said upset.
~time skip to when they get there~
Amity's pov
As we pulled up to the beach I started panicking. It was to hot to were a wetsuit but I can't wear a costume as they will see my marks. "Ok here we are". Luz said. (Authors note: you can drive onto the beach). Luz got out the car and came round to see me. "Are you sure you are ok?" Luz asked worried . "No you can't reverse it". I started to break down. "im sorry I can't do this". I muttered. "Hey it's ok just tell me and it will be ok I can help you........... Please". Luz said. "Um well ok when I was younger I put a lot of pressure on myself and erm sometimes it was to much and I err cut myself a lot." I said starting to cry. " oh babe it's ok where did you do it? " Luz asked. "Erm on my legs". I sniffed. " Ok stay here i have to get something. Luz said. She went a came back a few minutes later holding a bag. "What's that?" I asked. " some swimming shorts and a Uv top to put over your costume. " she said happily. "Ok I'll put it on." I went behind the car and put on the shorts and top. Well it worked you couldn't see the scars. " ok let's go in the sea. " I said. "Ok" Luz replied. We ran into the sea and messed about for hours. It was sunset and we sat and cuddled while we watched the sun slowly go down.
