Au Pirate and mermaid.
Luz's pov
I was the captain of a fine crew and we were all on me faithful ship the Black Pearl. "Captain there's something in the water" "Well pull it out lad" I huffed. "You heard her catch it". I turned away just as I heard them chucking the net into the water and I started walking into my quarters (the part at the back of the boat idk what it's called). A few minutes later I heard knocking on the door. "Ma'am you err might wanna see this". "Did you catch it or what" I asked with my head in me hands. "Yea but it's no fish". As soon as he said that I looked up in shock. "What?" . "Its no fish Cap'n". "Come see". He said as he grabbed me hand. "I don't need help you scallywag". I said removing his grib. "Now what's all the fuss". " That Cap'n". A crew mate said pointing his finger at the object. I walked over to the pile of fishing netting on the deck. "Erm what is that?" I questioned. " I don't know Ma'am never checked". "Well check you daft fools". I shouted. "You heard her lads check it". As the crew slowly moved towards the thing it started to move. "Ahhh lads fall back". "Omg are you pirates or what." I said clearly annoyed. No one on me crew moved it was so silent you could hear a pin drop. " fine I'll do it. " "SQUAWK not without me SQUAWK" . "fine come on king" as I said that he flew down onto me shoulder. King was me trusty and probably my only good loyal soul on this ship. Me own parrot. As I walked towards the object, I grabbed my sword and sliced down the net cutting the beast go. As soon as I did that I saw a glimpse of something shining in the light. " a scale? " I said. "I thought you said it ain't a fish!" I screamed " well we weren't sure it just looks too big". A crew mate said. At that point King started making a racket. "SQUAWK SQUAWK" "What King?!" " look me harty a face". "A what?" " a face" "I know what you said King". "COME OUT!" I shouted. " No" a muffled voice said. "RUN" Its a dæmon" "HIDE" me crew shouted.They all ran into the quarters waiting, looking out the windows. "Where you going come back". "No" a crew mate said. "Fine". I went over to the net and yanked it off. Underneath was a beautiful girl with purple hair and a. "Tail!" I said. " are, are you a mermaid? " "Yes the girl said scared. "Kill her". "We can sell her for bounty". I heard my crew say as they surrounded the girl. "We shall do no such thing". I said. "Now get back to work". I shouted. "Come on its ok we won't hurt you". I said putting my hand out shake hers. She took my hand and I shook it. "Nice to meat you in Luz" I'm Amity" "Thats a pretty name". "Thanks" she said blushing. "Erm can you like move or do you need to go back in the water?" " No I'm fine let me change". "Ok" I turned away and heard some strange noise and turned around to see a girl instead of Amity. I grabbed my sword from its case and held it to her neck. "Where is she!" . "Luz it's me" "oh sry Amity". "Anyway follow me". I pulled her up and we walked to my quaters. I shut the door and got her some clothes. "Er you can wear this if you like." " Thanks". She got changed and we talked for ages about life in the ocean and Pirates.

"Sry I have to get going my dad will be really worried". "Oh ok then". As Amity got up u grabbed her arm "Will I see you again?" . "Maybe Luz". "Ok then well it was nice getting to know you". "Yea you to" . I hugged Amity and we went outsude to the deck. She said goodbye to me crew and jumped into the ocean swimming away. I heard crying and turned around to see my crew in tears. "Pull yourselves together your pirates for goodness sake" . I said holding back tears.
