It happened to be the middle of March on a lightly rainy day. A young teen laid upon her bed wrapped up in a fuzzy blue blanket while watching some youtube videos. She stumbled across a video called Wolf Teens. It stayed around one specific person known as Wolfie Blackheart. The video explained some things about being a therian and the accusation of beheading a dog on Wolfie. The teens mind had filled with curiosity over the situation leading her to watch more videos about Therians and Furries. The girl began to research Therians and decided to go by Pastel, The golden wolf Therian.

The next day, Pastel decided to tell her family that she was indeed a therian. She only received dirty looks and comments about wanting to be an animal, being called a freak and just someone who wants to cosplay as an animal for sex. Hearing those words from her own family broke Pastel and she ran to her room in tears. She had began to draw how her fursona looked. Awhile later, She emerged from her room only to grab a pair of sisscors and a sewing kit. The teen picked up a golden teddy bear and began to cut along the stitching and slowly pulled the stuffing from the doll. She drew markings and cut the bears arms into wolf-like ears and the legs to make a tail. She picked up a tiny needle and threaded pink thread through the arms to create the ears before stuffing them and sewing them shut. It wasnt long until she did the same with the tail. She looked around for a headband and tied the ears onto it before putting on her fursona attire. The teen looked at herself in the mirror and noticed something. She had been tearing up with a big smile on her face. She began to post pictures of her drawings and fursona self upon instagram. It wasnt too long until Pastel noticed message. She had been invited to join a pack! Pastel just couldn't believe it. She could feel her phantom tail wagging and howled happily. She quickly began talking with the group and soon felt like she truly belonged somewhere.
