Headcanons

Sugawara
-Has a collection of plants and has absolutely named some of them after the team
-Really likes ice skating
-Has a collection of scented candles
-Really good at cooking

Asahi
-I feel like Asahi would really like spending time with kids, like imagine in the future if any of the team members had children, he'd always offer to babysit for them.
-As soon as somebody says their cold, he'd give them his jacket
-No way he doesn't like it when you play with his hair
-Reads poetry
-Has a really nice singing voice

Nishinoya
-He is totally the type of person to run and jump on your back with no warning for a piggyback ride
-If you're small enough he would definitely pick you up while hugging you
-Napoleon complex, tell me I'm wrong.
-Frequently has to shop in the kid's section but he gets super hyped when the adult sizes are small enough for him
-Really likes complicated handshakes and has one with Hinata and Tanaka, he's tried to teach Asahi but he's really bad

Yamaguchi
-This isn't exactly that much of a headcanon, but he definitely idolizes Tsukishima for helping him put an end to his bullying problem
-He gets really nervous when he has to meet new people and Tsukki's not around
-He's very sensitive so I think he'd cry a lot

Tsukishima
-I honestly think he wears his headphones just so that he doesn't get bothered by others, but if he is listening to music I think he'd listen to rock, both Japanese and English
-I don't think he actually knows much about dinosaurs, he just thinks they look cool
-This one is kinda canon but I think he holds himself to too high of a standard and he's extremely hard on himself when he doesn't meet his expectations. Even if he does he still feels as if he "could've done better"
-Hates it when others show PDA, but he's a total hypocrite cuz he loves to show PDA
-There is absolutely no way that this guy doesn't have a daddy/sir kink, change my mind I dare you
-This man is a SWITCH
-If he ever bottoms he's a "grab the sheets" kind of guy

Oikawa
-There is no goddamn way that this man is straight, like how? How?? I'm not saying he's gay, I'm just saying there's no way he's only attracted to women.
-This is basically canon but he definitely has minor breakdowns every week or two and he always calls Iwa for emotional support
-Doesn't really need glasses but he wears them to feel more intelligent
-I'm not saying that he's into Iwa (i'm totally saying that) but they definitely have a "kissing the homies goodnight" kind of friendship. Tell me they don't cuddle at sleepovers, I dare you
-He's a masochist, I don't make the rules
-I know everyone has this headcanon but he would be loud af in bed

Kuroo
-I don't even think this is a headcanon but if he found out that you were a chemistry nerd he's just ramble about a bunch of chemistry stuff (I want to see this happen so badly)
-He likes jazz, no it's not because of that one meme where is hair is photoshopped onto Barry Benson's head, I genuinely think this
-On the topic of the bee movie, he and Bokuto have definitely memorized the script together
-Okay so out of the three main sciences of biology, chemistry and physics, usually people like 2 and then hate the other one (I've seen this happen time and time again, literally everyone I know loves 2 and then doesn't like the other) but I just can't imagine Kuroo disliking any of them?? I think he would love bio and chem but he wouldn't like physics as much, but he wouldn't hate it
-Writes essays for fun
-Likes sudoku
-Has listened to the Caramelldansen on repeat with Bokuto, has tried to do that to Kenma
-Good at making puns
-When he gives you hugs, he'd hold the back of your head to keep your closer
-Y'all think that Kuroo is the biggest flirt but honestly I think he'd be really awkward when it comes to flirting. We can't forget that this guy's a massive nerd
-If he was in a relationship THEN he'd be the biggest flirt/tease
-Cat costume in bed, no explanation needed
-Like Tsukki, if he ever bottoms he grabs the sheets
-Daddy kink, we were all thinking this
-Degradation. I don't make the rules, I only enforce them

Kenma
-Unable to drink much coffee/highly caffeinated beverages because it heightens his anxiety
-This one isn't actually a headcanon, it's on his wiki page, I just feel like sharing it with you. He keeps his hair long because he get nervous when his field of vision is too big
-Sleeps with a heated blanket (if he ever sleeps?)
-Has to carry eye drops with him because gaming gives him dry eyes
-Okay yknow that phase that every 7th grade classroom goes through where they kick in the backs of people's knees? Yeah he totally does that to Lev
-We all know that he's secretly a cat so it only makes sense that he'd really like to nuzzle against you while cuddling or sleeping
-Bites the tip of his tongue when he's really focused on something

Lev
-So because of Tendou we know that Shounen Jump exists, so assuming that Haikyuu takes place in the same universe as us, Lev would be compared to Victor from Yuri on Ice ESPECIALLY by Yaku
-His sister babies him all the damn time and he's really embarrassed by it (this one might have some truth to it, idk)
-He would be a terrible driver
-His sister has done his makeup before and made him go to school like that
-Absolutely still plays among us (it's currently August of 2021 so keep that in mind)
-No flirting skills, tell me I'm wrong

Yaku
-Like Noya, napoleon complex
-Kicks in the backs of Lev's knees like Kenma
-I can only imagine how many times he's been rejected by a girl because of his height (as I was writing this out I remembered that Kuroo's older sister has short hair)

Bokuto
-This man has a collection of romance manga and is actually a really romantic guy
-He would absolutely wear muscle shirts
-He likes head pats and scalp massages
-Radiates big dick energy
-He writes down all his friends birthdays in a calendar so that he doesn't forget
-Sometimes he gets a little insecure about his intelligence and Akaashi's gotta cheer him up
-Loves hugs more than anything
-Likes to try weird food combinations for fun, tries to get either Akaashi or Kuroo to do this with him
-Loves karaoke
-If he were your boyfriend he would randomly pick you up and carry you for no reason
-Likes being the little spoon
-Never ever has a solid plan when it comes to dates, he's just spontaneous with it
-Impossible to wake up in the morning
-If he doesn't have a praise kink I'd be astonished
-Tries so hard to be quiet in bed, and almost always fails

Akaashi
-Has taken a mental health first aid class
-Is an amazing singer and would sing you to sleep
-Really likes being near water, like lakes and rivers or the ocean
-If he's sitting while on a train/bus and somebody else comes on and there are no open seats, he'd automatically give up his seat for them

Tendou
-Would definitely sneak out at night
-He'd love to hold hands, even as friends
-He's a very affectionate person
-LOVES hot chocolate
-This is so specific but I think he has a collection of scarves
-Has considered cosplay before
-Is surprisingly good at dancing
-Okay so yknow how there are funko pops of famous athletes? Idk if Japan does this but if they do and they made one of Ushijima, Tendou would DEFINITELY buy it
-No way he doesn't have a collection of Nendoroids
-Yet again if they have the same universe of Shounen Jump, I think that his bullies would've made fun of him by comparing him to Hisoka from HxH (on a random sidenote, why does he REALLY look like Shoya Ishida from A Silent Voice?)
-Once he tried to pick up guitar and he was actually really good at it, but he didn't really like it so he quit
-This one's kinda canon but he definitely likes Western culture and media
-Loves arcades
-I feel like he's a happy crier
-Again, this is random but I think he'd be really good at bowling
-Loves going to bath and body works

Atsumu
-I feel like he's not as confident as he leads on
-HATES being left alone
-Has the attention span of a squirrel (yeah this is kinda canon)
-He gets really pouty when things don't go his way, but he's easy to cheer up
-This is basically canon but he's overly competitive, even over the smallest thing
-Will kick your ass in Mariokart
-He still plays among us
-Absolutely has a daddy kink
