Once an ant was crawling on a branch which stretched out over a river. Suddenly a gust of wind

blew the ant into the water. As the ant struggled to stay afloat, a dove saw her plight and plucked

a leaf with her beak and dropped it into the water near the ant. The ant struggled onto the leaf

and was swept to safety.

Many days later a hunter walked around looking for game. He spotted the dove in the tree and raised his gun to take aim. Luckily, the ant saw the hunter raise his gun. It quickly climbed up the hunter's leg and stung him. The hunter cried out in pain and dropped the gun. Hearing the cry, the dove flew away to safety.
