The security team I had assigned informed me that the person escaped. But the thing which made me restless was that they got a gun.

I think this is more serious than I thought. I have already called Raghav and Prasadh. As Prasadh said I have to inform everything to Swapna and make her understand the situation.

So I decided to go to my office because I don't want to meet Raghav and Prasadh at my house and make my parents know about the current situation which I am going through.

At the office

Raghav already came to the office and Prasadh is on the way. He told me that he had to inspect the gun which we got to make sure whether we can get any data with the help of that.

"Dev..., what are you thinking about? Listen here...I'm going to call her." Raghav said interrupting my thoughts, we are now inside my cabin.

"No...! wait a minute, I don't think she will believe and moreover she won't come to meet me." I know her hatred for me that's why I am a hundred percent sure about that.

"Don't worry about that... I will make her come and for making her believe we have all the evidence...," Raghav said showing his laptop having all the photos and threat messages which I send him for further investigation.

"Is that necessary..., showing all this will make her panic. "

" Yes, its necessary Dev... can't you see that her life is in danger... and about making her understand... it is our duty" I think he was right. I nodded at him.

"Hmm...then call her..." as soon as I said he took his phone and dialed her number. I waited keenly to hear their conversation. I think she took the call, he signaled me something with his right hand which I didn't understand and started to speak.

"Hello, can I speak to Miss Swapna........................ I'm Raghav AdhiDev group of company's legal advisor"

What? What the hell is he up with?
I can't hear what she was saying on the other end.
"You need to come to the office for verification................. Yes................... To confirm that you have completed the bond period assigned......................... No, you have to come and meet me today itself". what was he saying? I need to stop him from sprouting rubbish. I went to his side and tried to snatch the phone from him. Before I could get the phone he signed me to stop and continued the conversation.

"Yes.............. OK........... Call me on this number once you reach here............... OK" saying that he cut the call and showed a thumbs up to me. That was really annoying he was getting me into more trouble.

"Is this drama necessary at this time...," I said leaning to my chair.

"You don't know Raghav getting killed by the blackmailer is much better than an encounter with furious Swapna..." Now I am really scared, not about the blackmailer but about my Swapna.

"I really pity you Dev...now your situation is like getting trapped between the devil and the sea..." he was laughing at me, the perfect time for joke.

"Excuse me, sir..., may I come in." My assistant Mr. Prakash came.

" Yes, tell me what is it?"

" sir one Mr.Prasadh came to meet you." I think he got the details about the gun.

"Okay, let him in..." I hope he got some important information about the blackmailer. Soon Prasadh came in with a blank face.

"Prasadh... did you get any details of the blackmailer..." Raghav enquired.

Prasadh placed a gun which is wrapped in a transparent plastic cover on my table.
"This is what we got...," he said.

"But...this looks old," I said with confusion. That one really looks like guns we see at historical museums.

"Of course. this is old...," he said showing an old article having details of a gun model which looked similar to that.

We both were looking at him with the same curiosity to hear what he was going to say next. He continued "this is Webley Mk IV Revolver a British model used at the time of 1880s to 1960s that is during the world war period I don't know how he got one. And this one is not fully loaded maybe he used before."

"What is the meaning of all this if he had a gun with him all the time then why didn't he attack Swapna... if he wants to take revenge." Said Raghav I also had the same doubt.

"That is what I'm going to say this person don't have anything to do with Dev sir... he may not even have met Dev sir before....All he want is Swapna."..........................
