Lovers Intertwined

Chapter 1

The lockers slammed shut, and I turn around to the noise, and Caroline and Bonnie were standing in front of me smiling. 

"guys, you scared me". 

Caroline says, "Sorry, Sianna."

 Bonnie says, "Hey, Sianna." 

I smile, turn back to my locker, put my books away, and say, "Hey guys, what's up?"

Caroline then asks, " have you guys seen the way Elena and Stefan have been acting". 

Bonnie says, "Not really, I have a little bit".  

Caroline turned to me and says, "what about you, Sianna?" 

With a smile, rolling my eyes and closing my locker whilst grabbing my bag, "no, Caroline, I haven't. Just because I'm close to Stefan doesn't mean I know every little thing about them". 

Caroline then says, "I was just asking, that's all". 

Bonnie turned around says, "why don't you ask them, Caroline.

Caroline rolls her eyes, and then Caroline and I look up and see Elena, Stefan, and Karlee walking over to us.

 Stefan says, "Hey guys," to the girls, and then while hugging me, "Hey beautiful."

Elena says, "Hey, what are you guys up to? Do you all want to hang out later?" 

Caroline and Bonnie both replied, "Yes, we should—we all should, as we haven't for a while." 

Karlee says, "Sorry, I can't. I'm meeting Klaus". 

then Stefan turned to me and says, "what about you, beautiful ?" 

"Sorry, handsome, I've got some homework that I need to do" Turning to the others ", I'll talk to you lovely people later", and then everyone said their farewells to me.

Walking out of the school, I run into someone.

"Look where you're going!" looking up, I realise that its Klaus, 

Klaus says "Sorry, Luv, have you seen Karlee?"

 "Yes, she's inside...why do you care?". 

 Klaus says, "Because I care about her, deeply".  

"wow, you actually have a heart; I'm shocked". 

Klaus rolled his eyes and went into the school, and I continued walking through the carpark when Matt came jogging up to me. 

"Hey Sianna, what are you up to now?". 

"Hey Matty, I'm just going to study at home." 

"Please come study at the grill? just to keep me company... please.. please! I will love you forever".

Causing me to giggle, "Fine, I'll come and keep you company". 

Matt takes the driver's seat while I take the passenger's seat, and we drive to the grill. When we get there, we go inside, and I sit at the bar with my books and start to study. Matt does a few things to make me laugh while he is working. Matt goes off to grab some food and comes back to me.

"Hey Sianna, I hate to ask this, but... do you think you could give us a hand for a bit? We are slammed". 

"yea, sure I can; I've got nothing better to do".

While I'm busy waiting tables, Damon, Elena, and Stefan come into the grill and spot me dropping some meals off. Stefan walked over towards me and grabbed my hips to turn me to face him,

"Hey Beautiful, what are you doing working here, and could we grab a table?" I turn around, looking for a spare table, and smile after spotting one.

"Hey, handsome, Matt asked me to give them a hand". rolling my eyes. "Follow me, and I'll set you guys up at a table." 

 "Do you guys know what you would like?" I look up from my notepad, see an awkward vibe within the group, and notice Damon's pining look sent silently in Elena's direction, but she doesn't say anything. Damon is getting my attention with a cough.

"We'll grab a few hamburgers and chips and a Bour...."

I cut him off. "Yes, a bourbon. I know you well enough to know that; that's a given. I'll go grab them for you now and place the meal order."

Going to the kitchen, I pass the order to the apprentice. Whilst they are making the orders, I go to the bar to make the drinks. Matt bumps hips with me whilst giving me a wink as I make the drink orders. Looking up at Stefan, I notice that he has a strange look on his face whilst looking between Matt and I, so I give him a wink making him blush and smile as he rolls his eyes at my antics. Damon looks over to Stefan, leaning close, and I see him mouth something along the lines of

 "what are you looking at...? oh... of course". 

Hearing the kitchen bell, I quickly take the drinks to their table then rush back to the kitchen. Then, balancing their meals, I make my way back to their table. Then, placing their meals down, I sit down next to Stefan, popping one of his chips into my mouth.

"Why are you eating proper human food when you don't even like it?"

"We have to keep up our appearances... have you ever considered being turned?" Damon says as blunt as ever. "I mean, most of your friends are supernatural ". 

Stefan kicks Damon under the table.

"ow, fuck".

I look between them, confused about what happened and look at the two brothers glaring at each other. Then, picking up on the awkward vibe at the table, I lean over and kiss Stefan's cheek before pushing up from the chair and walking back to the bar. 

"Hey Matty, are you good if I leave?"

"Yeah, all good, thanks for the help," he says with a smile.

With that, I collect my bag and pack away my books, heading out the door to head home for bed.
