IN BEACON HILLS, 2005, Sydney Bennett heard agony screams coming from her father. The little girl ran out of her room to see her father covered in burns. Usually they would heal after a few seconds. But these burns weren't even close to healing. Her mother was taking the night shift, as usual. Sydney panicked and picked up a phone.
"911, what's your emergency?" A women spoke over the phone
"My dad, I don't know what's happening. H-he burned himself." She spoke with through the phone with a shaky, small voice.
The operator didn't hear the young girl so she hung up. Tears pricked the girl's eyes. She ran out the house to her neighbors. She banged on the door and it opened to reveal her best friend, Brett Talbot.
"Are your parents home?"
"Yeah. MOM, DAD!" The boy yelled and they came.
"My dad. The hospital."
Brett's parents run out the door and run into the Bennett household. Sydney watches as they put the man in pain into the car. She was going to stay here until her mom got home. Lori Rohr, Brett's sister, stood by Sydney and held her hand.

Its 2011, years since her father passed away in the hospital. Last year, in 2010, she discovered she had some odd powers. She was still learning the witchy ways, her mom had told her about. She was new to that stuff. And after her father died, she's been seeing the other supernatural creatures that have died. They always had pity towards her when they went through her to find peace. Now, Sydney is learning to control the pain, she realized what her father had been through since he was a young boy. She inherited her father's anchor ability and her mother's witch powers. It's a blessing and a curse for the Bennett girl. Sydney heard footsteps and turned to see a women.
