"i once.. lived in this town." schlatt begun speaking, as we sat on the steps of the casino.

"i was much younger then, probably around your age. well, i lived in this town.. and i ran this currency, bank, as you could say"

i silently sat next to him, listening to the ambiance of the huge waterfalls which sat in the center of las nevadas.

"schlatt coin" he said, slightly chuckling at the name. "i made this stupid coin as a joke at first, then the longer the joke went on i saw genuine potential"

"what.. what was it even for?"

"it was fun while it lasted, honestly had no real purpose" he laughed, gazing off.

he continued on with storys when he was younger, as i honestly enjoyed listening to them. almost was some sort of comfort.

"quackity they're gone-"

"what do you mean they're gone?!" quackity yelled, waving a hand towards the portal exiting the prison.

"techno and dream. they've escaped"

"how have they escaped? what kind of fucking prison is this sam?!" quackity glares at sam, as sam stood behind the front desk.

"they aren't in their cell, there's no evidence of a break in-"

"cameras? check the cameras!"

"we don't.. we don't have cameras quackity."

"what do you mean? theres no cameras in a prison? that was your first fucking mistake!"

"i-"

"dream's fucking out- oh my god." quackity begun pacing the room, as he pulled his beanie off and ran his fingers through his hair, which has turned into a messy mullet.

"we can-"

"shut up sam! i don't want to hear it! where were you?! where are the alarms!"

loud pounding came from the front door, as it startled me. i hesitantly looked at schlatt, who sat across from me.

he got up, answering the door which invited in a loud voice.

"i need to search this place" quackity announced, stepping into the room i sat in, with schlatt following behind him.

"what? who do you think you are?" schlatt asks, standing close to him.

"wait- whats going on?"

quackity locked eyes with me, a dirty look sat on his face.

"there's no need to know, just let me search this place and i'll be on my way."

"no- what the fuck are you looking for? this is my fucking house!" schlatt stood infront of him, blocking his pathway.

"this is my country, my property! you're lucky you're allowed anywhere near my country!"

a defeated look lied on schlatts face, as he simply made his way to where i sat.

"whats going on?" i continued to ask, as quackity obviously seemed to be offput.

"none of your fucking business!" he suddenly yelled.

"hey- don't fucking yell at her, you hear me?!" schlatt yelled right back, as i quickly shot him a glance.

then it hit me.

the realization of what went down not too long ago. information that could ruin everything.

quackity simply peaked in and out of rooms, looking under several places.

he knows.

i locked eyes with him as he stepped back into the room. he was fiddling with his beanie, tucking some strands of hair in.

"you're clear." he blankly stated, beginning to make his way back outside.

"what the fuck was that about?" schlatt quickly asked, glaring towards me.

"i- i don't know"

"is he looking for something? someone?"

we're so fucked if anyone finds out.

"somethings going on around here.." schlatt continued, pulling himself off of the couch in which he sat on.

i couldn't say anything, i couldn't let him know. as much as i wanted to trust him, i couldn't.

i couldn't tell anyone, yet the guilt was eating me alive.

why did i join in on this. i hate both of them. i just ruined all my relationships if anyone were to find out.

they would have to know some day. im digging my own grave
