"Yes, yes. I'm very happy with this."
Despite her niece's protests, Maia had roped Beth Anne into attending the Founder's Day Ball. If she had to endure this torture, then the redhead could very well too.
Aphrodite had turned the demigoddess's little spell room into a dressing room. Every single wall was covered from ceiling to floor in mirrors, so all three of them could see everything from every angle.
Maia wasn't really surprised she fit into her original dresses from her time as a normal demigoddess...if being a legacy of Hermes and a child of the Big Three counted as normal... The blackette felt a strong sense of love and adoration at seeing her niece fitting perfectly into one of her favourite dresses. A deep green one made of silk with pink ruffles that covered her chest modestly.
'It had been a gift from Hestia,' the older Jackson witch had remembered as Aphrodite curled and styled the teen's red hair with a wave of her hand. She even delicately and skillfully slipped some pink roses, the exact same shade as the ruffles of her dress, into the updo.
She didn't know if the present goddess had done it on purpose, but the everchanging deity had slipped a beautiful white lace and red silk dress into the small pile that Maia had chosen to try on.
Then, after being unhappy with the next three, the blackette was finally laced up in the THAT dress with Aphrodite's help.
And before she could look up to judge her own appearance, the goddess clipped a pearl necklace around her throat and snapped her fingers in less than a second to curl her midnight locks into a style that Maia recognized instantly recognized.
Tears began to well in her eyes.
"What do you think?" A soft, gentle whisper touched her ear as two hands held her shoulders with the lightest grip.
Despite her father's colouring, black hair, tan skin and green eyed gaze... Maia was an exact picture of her mother.
The immortal had thought Sally had been buried with the pearls that her mother had worn whenever she was awake and the dress that was always saved for most special of occasions...
Her hair was in a state that the granddaughter of Hermes always had, loving the style.
And the dress...had been a gift made by her mother, Maia's grandmother, and her absolute favourite.
Beth Anne's phone suddenly went off and despite being all dressed and prepared, she looked to Aphrodite to see if she could answer her phone. Being raised by Maia and growing up with the occasional visit of a god, the redhead had of course learned that, unless they favoured you, or were in a good mood, it was VERY likely you could be smited at any sign of disrespect. Even a sneeze. She'd seen it happen!
Granted the guy was an ass, but still.
the younger Jackson knew that she and her aunt were indeed liked by the Goddess of Love, but hey, can never be too careful right?
The deity smiled, amused but still pleased, nodded and Beth Anne carefully walked over to her phone on the chair, to find a text from Elena.
Now, she knew that Maia freaking hated Katherine with a passion and even after hearing about her once, the older Jackson witch was hesitant to believe that Elena was any different, despite any contradicting words from others.
"There's a plan to capture the older Salvatore and throw him in a cell beneath their boarding house."
Maia frowned, "And you know this how?"
Beth Anne grinned, "I convinced Elena and Stefan to trust me."
"After one day?"
The redhead's grin widened as her aunt's face changed from shock to amusement to pride.
"That's my girl."

Aphrodite painted Maia's lips a blood red that matched the colouring of her dress and hung a delicate pair o pearl earrings on her lobes but denied the younger witch earrings, instead only allowing a pale pink shade of lipstick.
The three left the room, heading towards the garage that held both cars and the motorcycle.
The goddess then drastically changed the immortal demigoddess's car into an old fashioned Impala and fashioned herself into the female version of a chauffeur's costume, "Ready?"
Maia was confused, tilting her head at the overly helpfulness of one of the, sometimes, most selfish Olympians, "Dite... Is everything okay?"
The everchanging deity bit her lip, now looking nervous, something that Maia had never before seen.
"Dite?"
She sighed, slumping ever so slightly, "I apologize, Darling, but i can't tell you. Perhaps you can convince your father or Hermes. Maybe even your most dreary and the least moody uncle. Something major will soon happen," her multicoloured eyes flittered over to an uninterested and distracted Beth Anne, something a now suspicious Maia caught.
"B," the redhead snapped her gaze to her aunt.
"Yeah?"
"In the car."
"Okay."
"Dite-"
"I've already said too much, Darling. Now let's go."
With years of practice from almost two centuries ago, especially with how she was dressed, Maia elegantly slid into the car seat beside Beth Anne.
She looked over to a somewhat nervous redhead, "Ready to a poor excuse of a recreation of the time I grew up in?"
"Not really, to be honest, Aunt May."
The immortal smiled softly and threaded her fingers through the younger Jackson then kissed her forehead, "Don't worry, B. I'll be right beside you, every step of the way."
"Thanks, Mu-Aunt May."
Maia didn't seem to notice the teen's stutter. Beth Anne sucked in a breath as less than twenty minutes later, Aphrodite pulled up the classic car in front of the Mayor's house.
"Pray when you need me or are ready to go, okay darlings?"
"Okay, Dite," The two Jacksons said at the same time.
