Heart Beat - Sunki

"𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝"

"HUH?! GET OUT!!"

Sunoo slammed the door on his older sister while panting and quickly looked at himself in his mirror. What the hell?.. His chest thumped violently remembering that crazy dream, but he would classify it as a nightmare. He walked towards his closet.

"I was so excited for the new semester but that stupid dream had to ruin it."

He got his uniform and showered, as he spat out his tooth paste he wondered... Why did I have that stupid dream anyway? I don't like him or anything.. He fixed his hair in the mirror and massaged his face before heading towards the kitchen. At least i'm cute.

"Alright, I'm leaving!"

"I don't care go quickly."

He grabbed an apple and left for school.

He walked slowly down the street while eating his apple, admiring his new shoes and how good his uniform looked on him.

"Wait a second..."

He glanced at the watch on his wrist,

"Oh god.. I'm gonna be late!"

He rushed towards the school gates, anticipating for the worst. He glanced around, looking for his friends Jungwon and Jay, paying no attention to where he was headed.

"Where are th-"

"What the fuck."

He looked up to see a not so exciting familiar face. He rolled his eyes, obviously displeased with the world. Is life really this hard? He slowly lifted himself up from the cold and uneven ground.

"It's not my fault you were in front of me. Don't blame me when you were the one standing in the middle of the path?"

Ni-ki scoffed.

"No, YOU were the one not paying attention. You better apologise for tripping me up or else."

"Huh, what are you gonna do, hit me?"

Said Sunoo as he crossed his arms.

"Maybe I will-"

"Hey guys let's calm down shall we?"

It was Ni-ki's friend Taki that stopped them from fighting.

"Be grateful that you were saved, loser."

Taki mouthed the words 'Sorry' to Sunoo before the both of them walked away.

"12th grade couldn't get any-worse than this, could it?"

As he said this, the dream from last night replayed constantly in his mind. How...embarrassing ! I really should stop thinking about it... It'll never happen!

"Hey, Sunoo!"

"Finally.. you guys saved me.. I have so much to tell you!"

"Spill!"

Jungwon was excited for the tea whereas Jay just stood next to him.

"Nothing bad happened, right?"

Said Jake, looking quite concerned since the other day Sunoo was looking forward to the new semester to begin.

"Well.. basically l-"

The bell rang, interrupting their conversation.

"Ugh... I'll see you in class guys.."

Sunoo walked towards the doors.

"Hey... surely nothing that bad happened, right?"

Said Jungwon, looking anxious for his friend.

"Probably not that bad, don't sweat it."

Smiled Jay.
