"hueyyyy," y/n whined, she's been trying to get her best friend's attention for the last 30 minutes.

Huey kept on reading ignoring her, making y/n groan. she laid on the floor, her straightened hair spread out around her head, arms and legs out like she was making a snow angel. as she stared up at the ceiling an idea popped up in her head, 'i should steal his book' 'but would it work?' 'fuck it, I might as well try.

y/n got up and quickly walked over to Huey and snatched the book out of his hands, taking off out of his bedroom.

"hey! y/n! give me my book back!" Huey got up and started chasing her around the house.

"catch me if you can!" y/n yelled while letting out a laugh

y/n flew down the stairs, she ran into the living room, Huey ran after her, trying to trap her in the living room but y/n had other thoughts. y/n started to let out giggles, soon they got into a pickle, one-way y/n went huey did the same, so what did she do? she grabbed pillows and started chucking them at him, trying to get him distracted, each pillow that was chucked at him he dodged, besides the one that hit him in the face. y/n took the opportunity to run away from him as fast as she could, laughing her ass off.

"I swear to god if you don't give me my book back!" Huey yelled running after the laughing girl, but there wasn't harshness in his voice but playfulness.

y/n ran into the kitchen, which she made the mistake of, she was by the sink, finally huey cornered her, but once again y/n had other thoughts.

"you want it? come and get it!" y/n waved the closed hardcover book in the air.

Huey took off towards her, y/n took off and ran around the island to get back upstairs. Do you know how kids go up the stairs on all fours? yea that's what y/n did, once she got up to the top of the stairs she ran down the hallway laughing, Huey cornering her where she couldn't escape. but being the stubborn girl y/n was, she tried to run past him, but instead, Huey put his arm out and grabbed her and picked her up, y/n held the book to her chest tightly.

"no!" she squealed as she laughed as huey twirled her around in his arms.

Huey put her down on the floor and made her go between his legs trapping her, he started to tickle her sides making her laugh even harder than she was before.

"give me my book back!" Huey demanded in a playful voice.

"neverr!" y/n laughed.

he continued to tickle her, a huge smile on his face and his dimples showing.

"OKAY! I SURRENDER! I surrender!" y/n gave in, letting go of the book.

Huey stopped tickling her and grabbed his book, y/n was heaving trying to catch her breath, a smile still visible on her face. even though she was a sweaty mess and her hair was super messy, frizzy, and poofy, Huey still thought she looked beautiful. Huey held out his hand to help her get back up from the floor, y/n gladly took it and Huey pulled her up with a little too much strength almost putting her back on the ground.

instead of letting go of y/n's hand, Huey pulled her in and kissed her...on the lips. y/n didn't expect this so she let out a squeak when their lips touched, eyes wide open, but soon enough she started to kiss back closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around his neck. She heard a thud on the floor assuming that it was Huey's book as his hands cupped her cheeks, their lips moved in unison, soon enough, much to y/n's dismay they pulled apart.

y/n inhaled deeply and exhaled, eyes shooting down to the floor.

"So uh... what does this mean? what does this make us?" y/n looked up to meet hueys maroon eyes.

"Whatever you want us to be. strangers, acquaintances, friends, best friends, friends with benefits, ..a couple." (my autocorrect wrote country lmao) Huey said softly.

"I think i'll pick the last option." Huey grinned and brought her back in for a kiss.

A/n: hello! im so sorry that i haven't updated in a while, im about to start school as a freshman, and then there's family problems, so im very stressed😞 i had this idea in my head for the past two days so i wanted to get it written for y'all.

i'll try to post more if i get the chance to. once again i'm sorry 😞. i'll see y'all next chapter. ily be safe and healthy.
