Part 25

" Khushi...hurry up... don't waste time.."

Shashi Gupta frowned uncertainty, he's trapped but this is a dire situation...he had to handle it.. now there is no secret left, when Khushi see her grandfather everything will be reveal.

"Where..?"

" Is everything ok... ? Did something happened... amma...? buaji...?"

Khushi queried in panick, her father is not behaving well, something surely bothering him.. something awful..

" Khushi... they are okay.. but we have to visit hospital now.. you get ready..l should call a taxi..hurry up.."

Galvanized by khushis non stop quires , shashi moved away, taking his mobile phone he tried to call taxi. However his son in law blocked his way and with his authoritative voice he informed shashi, that he can drop them wherever they want .

With a quick flick of seconds arnav messaged his chauffeurs and ordered him to come back.

" What exactly happened..?"

After khushis reluctant retreat , Arnav looked at his stressed father in law,who's visibly trembling. He's pale with tension.

" It's one of khushi's relative who's hospitalized... and he's very critical..he wants to meet kushi.."

" Khushi's relative...? Not yours?"

Arnav got it, shashi is hiding something and shashi Gupta is very secretive, like khushi's scholarship issue. He's not making eye contact, that means shashi Gupta is in hot water, something which is out of reach.

" From her father's side.. Arnav I will explain you later.. but now we have to move... without disturbing Khushi... she must be shocked..or even worse... for that I need your help...I can't trust anyone else..."

" Don't ask me more.... Arnav try to understand me.."

Arnav stifled the curious questions,it was very typical, every familie's owes certain  skeletons in their own wardrobe...

Shashi Gupta, the man sitting infront of him,is not an ordinary man, he's a brilliant man ,a strong headed man,who always resisted him,an  iron willed father. An ordinary Baker ,now he's asking him to understand him.

On contrary he won't ask anything now but he will act what he wants to act.

" Ok.. for a change you are going to tell me everything once this hospital meet ends.."

" Hmmm.."

Shashi hummed. He had to shut Arnav, Arnav is the only one who can help him, he could not find any other better than  Arnav,who he can relay on.

" Khushi put some overcoat.. weather is chilly..."

Shashi adviced, he's not sure what he's going to say, but it was sure, media will be there.. they have to cross them without revealing khushi's identity they had to bypass media attention.

Arnav found its very unconventional,on this summer season who need a overcoat. but Khushi obeyed her father. She took a grey topcoat, and buttoned it.

she might have talked with her mother, because her tension level is lowered considerably, she's better now .. but shashi Gupta is still in vigilant mode , hot with stress.

Arnav opened car door for his wife,she dutifully accepted his generosity. Shashi sat next to the driver,he instructed him to drive towards Delhi's famous private hospital.

Which was one of the best luxurious private hospital in the country. Arnav shot a glare at Khushi, but she's not looking at them,her usual habit, she's looking at her phone.
