CHAPTER 5

Y/N's POV

You woke up with a terrible headache the day after that party. You sat down on your bed and remembered what happened to you and Sasha

Oh right , I told her that we'll start the project later.

You immediately got up ,once your headache subsided, and got ready. After dressing up, You received a text from Connie telling you that his waiting for you outside

You looked at your window and there he was, Looking at his phone. You went outside and both of you walked off to school since it's not that far

While you and Connie are walking , You saw two Seniors bullying someone that looked like a junior , like you

You immediately went to stop those seniors but when you saw who they were bullying , Your eyes went wide a bit

It was Annie. "What's up with you?! Are you her friend?!" One of the guys shouted "Leave her alone!" You shouted "tch get your ass ready later" The other guy threatened but you couldn't care less as you were helping Annie on getting up

"T-thanks Y/N" Annie said , You noticed the way she couldn't look at you in your eyes. "No prob , Are you alright? did they hurt you?" You said and memories of you and Annie started flooding back

You remembered how you helped her when you're still in kindergarten , You remembered those were the same words you first told her.

"Uh no , They didn't, I'm fine. Thank you" She said and after that you've heard Connie clear his throat "Ah you can walk with us if you want to" You didn't expect yourself to say that and even you were shocked

Annie stayed quiet for a while causing you to feel anxious "Uh It's just to keep those guys away from you but if you do-" "Sure Y-Y/N , I'd love to" She cut you off and you couldn't help but notice the redness of her cheeks.

The three of you walked to school and the awkwardness between you and Annie kinda bothered you

It wasn't like this before , But then you just had to fall for her. But all of that is now in the past and you've moved on , It's just that you can't help but feel sad from all of the wasted memories of you and Annie.

But you don't have a choice but to move forward especially now that you have a new interest on someone. "Hey Y/N , Connie and Annie!" Sasha , the topic of your thoughts , went running to you as you entered the campus

"Hey Sasha!" Connie said whilst slightly nudging your shoulders "Hey Sash" You said and Sasha's face heat up

Behind her was Mikasa with Jean and Eren bickering. "Good to see you with Y/N again Annie" Mikasa suddenly stated causing everyone to stay quiet as Sasha gave off a confused look

"W-what do you mean Mika?" She asked , Her curiousness was noticable in her tone "Oh uh, That's nothing Sash-" "Y/N and Annie used to date right?" Eren stated and Sasha went quiet for a moment

"T-that was a long time ago" You said while scratching the back of your neck. Sasha suddenly smiled again "Oh that explains why the two of you gave off that kind of energy , You look good together" Sasha said and you felt a little disappointed

What did she meant by that kind of energy?

Once again, Awkward silence took over and thankfully , Armin came "Hey guys!" He said in his usual cheerful tone "Hey Armin!"

All of you went to walk around for a little bit , waiting for the bell to ring

"Y/N can I ask you something?" Sasha said and you hummed in response "What happened to you and Annie? I mean why'd you broke up" She asked and you stoped on your tracks

"Oi , why?" Jean asked as he turned his head to you "oh uh, N-nothing" You said and they continued to walk as you and Sasha followed from behind

"I'll tell you later Sash, Your going to my place after all right?" You said and she nodded excitedly

TIME SKIP

Classes were finally finished and you met up with the others. "Y/N you up later? Let's chill at my place!" Jean said "Oh uh, I can't sorry. me and Sasha's doing a project for science" You stated and Jean gave you off a sly look
as well as Connie

damn this two are making it obvious

"Right, Your going to do a science project and not continue what you twi you started at the pa-" "Connie!" You and Sasha immediately cut Connie off with a blush om both your faces "What? just saying" He said with a chuckle , Jean bursted into laughter after

"Tch I mean if Sash want-" "Y/N!" Sasha cut you off while jokingly slapping your shoulders. Annie had that dark look in her eyes again and she glared at you before walking away, catching the attention of the others "Wait Annie!" Armin said before trying to catch up with her

Just what's their relationship? Not that I care tho

"Ooohh looks like Someone's Jealous" Eren suddenly stated before getting nudged by Mikasa "Uh..We have to get going right Sash?" You said trying to escape this awkwardness "Uh y-yeah bye!" She said before you held her wrist and dragged her away from the campus before she could hear Jean and Connie's teasing

Once you got to your place , the two of you went to your room 'cause your supplies was in there

"So why did you and Annie broke up Y/N?" Sasha asked while she was cutting some paper

You thought she'd forget about it but she didn't and heck you didn't want to tell her but you had no choice
