Arjun was too happy to find Krish in crowds of millions once again. He was happy after meeting him, making few moments with him and marking the day memorable in his name. Arjun was just happy for everything occurred after meeting Krish.
Even after all those, one fact was pulling him back from being fully happy, and the fact was Subhadeepta had been living away from her family, that too out of country since years.
Returning home, Satya and Arjun indulged in their respective works. Wrapping up dinner in short, Arjun locked himself in room for some alone time.
He laid down to visit the pages of past loaded with memories of Subhadeepta. He never had forgotten her for a moment. She was there in his prayers, in his good wishes and in a few dedicated activities of his, among of those visiting the past for her was prominent.
He found a point to halt after going through the path of past.
Flashback:
It was friendship day. Students were celebrating the day tying friendship band and spending good time among themselves. Arjun too had bought one band for Krish. He had decided to tie that to Krish when he would come to pick Subhi up from school.
As usual Arjun was waiting for Subhi to come out after completion of her class. That was their time only time of interacting when hesitation was there more in comparison to interaction.
"I have something for you," Subhi was the first one to spoke on that day.
"What do you have? I am not much fond of chocolates. I wished to say this to you, but couldn't," Arjun thought it might be a chocolate since she used to offer him chocolate.
"No, it's not chocolate this time. It's something else," a shy smile appeared on her face.
"Will you like to be my friend?" Taking out a friendship band, she forwarded the proposal of the day, tenderly.
"What's your prime reason this proposal?" He was so surprised after being asked for friendship. He wanted to ensure if she had any such expectations which he couldn't fulfill as a friend.
"The prime reason is we will at least find names to address each other after being friends," a slow chuckle slipped from her mouth making him realise that they hadn't addressed each other by any name.
"Besides, this there's an important reason too, and that's I have found a caring person in you whose care is too pristine to get described in few phrases. I want to keep you with me," her reply shivered him with the rush of joy inside him.
"Really! Will you keep me with you? Won't you go away from me?" He couldn't hold his emotions which were embracing his heart at that time.
"Then, I am gladly accepting to be your friend," he permitted her to tie the band on his wrist.
Later he too did the same, promising her to be with her forever.
Flashback ended
Some tear drops leaked from his eyes thinking the girl who had promised not to go away from him was placed too far from him by his fate.
