"Are you sure?" Simmi asked her eyes showing how worried she is.

"Of course. Don't worry. Its just 10 minutes." Ishita tried to comfort her but she was also somewhat sacred.

They had planned a simple girls sleepover as the senior bhalls were out of the town. But Romi, Simmi's brother had called his own friends turning it a huge party.

There was booze, music, dance everything but Ishita, who has phonophobia since her accident at small age, decided leave.

True she was getting better with treatment but as they are getting loud every passing minutes and she didn't want to take risk.

Though the loud sound from inside scared her, the silent road outside was also no different.

After all which girl was not scared of silent Delhi roads even though it was only 9 pm.

"I am so sorry, yaar. I didn't know that idiot was planning this." Simmi muttered she wanted to accompany her but she was sacred, her drunk brother won't be able to handel the crazy teenagers.

"What the hell is going on here?" Ishita shivered at the loud noise beside her.

"Thank God, bhai. You came." Simmi sighed in relief "Can you drop her please, I will try to scare them away with your name."

"Fine." Ishita sighed as he agreed.

True she didn't know him but he was Simmi's brother.

She had seen him few times and passed some smiles of recognition.

After all he was THE Raman Kumar Bhalla as he claims.

How bad can it go. She muttered to herself following him as he took the lead.

Suddenly the silence was not scary.

She could hear their footsteps, matching the rhythm.

Their hand swinging side by side in unison.

She was surprised with how disappointed she was that their fingers didn't touch when they took the turn.

He stopped for a second as the road further divided and she took the lead.

She passed him a soft look as they reached her house.

She wanted turn with the every step she took but controlled herself.

She opened the door with the emergency key. Stepping inside as she turned to close the door, she saw him standing there.

She smiled and he returned it back with a nod.

She closed the door as he turned.

Ishita giggled to herself making way to her room.

She had been scared of the loud noise her whole life but for the first time she loved the silence.

*****

Phonophobia :- fear of loud noise.

Just another random thought that I am penning down, instead if sleeping.
