The girl was sitting in a corner covering her head as multiple gun shots echoed around her. "What do I do, now?" she asked herself. Scared, she started to hyperventilate as her words began to fill her head. 'What are you doing? Why are you just sitting there? Why are you being a coward? That man is risking his life for you. Are you just gonna let him die? Why are you such a disappointment? Why are you so weak? Why don't you just do something?' she thought to herself. As her heart rate began to increase exponentially, something falling making a clanking sound got her attention. The noise came from two baseball bats falling on top one another across the room. She began to crawl towards them thinking, 'Maybe I can help him. Maybe he can use those bats to defend himself.' As she grew closer to them, a bullet flew right before her eyes barely missing her. She was scared but continued to the weapons and grabbed them. While she was holding them, a stray bullet came right towards her, but it was blocked thanks to the bats. "Whoa," she said realizing that the bullet came from the direction where she was tucked in originally. She looked at the bats wondering, 'Where have I seen these before?' but soon returned to her original objective, She rushed towards to door, but suddenly stopped. Noticing that the firing had ceased, she hesitated to even put her hand on the knob. "Oh my gods... W-why have the gunshots stopped? Unless... d-did he...is he...he's-" before she could finish, the knob began to turn and the door creaked open. She quickly stepped back, held both of the bats in her hands and was ready attack. With the door opening, "AAAAAAAAAHHHH" she charged and swung both of the bats down onto her opponent, but they were easily blocked. The one who blocked them was none other than Spirit Zeroichi.
Spirit is using what is called a rising block. A typical action used for blocking any form of attack coming from above a person's head. Raising his left eyebrow, Spirit asked, "What are you doing?" With her face flushed red and slightly embarrassed, the girl pulled back and said, "Oh well you see I was just uhhhh I was trying tooooo ummmm. Oh give you your bats back," bowing her head and holding her hands out with the bats. "Thanks but I won't be needing them," he replied walking back outside. She put them down and asked, "Why? Have you already- HUUUUHHH?" She stopped mid-sentence to marvel at what Spirit did to her pursuers. He tied five of them around the base part of the tree and the other five directly above them. Using one leg, he pushed the tree down saying, "Tiiiimmmbeeeerrr." After the tree fell down, he walked over to guys still tied up and asked, "Now which one of you is still conscious." One man with a black eye and a busted lip spoke up, "Excuse me sir down here." Spirit looked at him and the man continued, "May I be the first one to say how sorry we are to disturb you and your wonderful home?" "Well you were the first one to say 'give us the girl and no one will get hurt' right?" Spirit asked with a menacing look. "Oh how right you are mister. Heh heh." Spirit shook his head, took his hands out of his pockets, and started to push the log. "Um where are you taking us kind sir?" "You dickheads are going for a ride," Spirit replied with a smirk on his face. "Huh. Oh no wait please reconsider sir. My boys and I promise to never come back if you were to show a little mercy. Ain't that right guys?" His little gang all had worried faces on nodded their heads. One of them spoke, "Yeah man I swear I'll never set foot on this place again." Another tried to play dumb and added, "Shit I don't even know where the hell I am. I mean come on how can I return to a place if I don't even know where it is? Right? Heh heh." "I wouldn't come back here even if someone fucken paid me a million bronze pieces." Walking to the middle of the log, Spirit yelled, "SHUT THE HELL UP." At that tone everyone were terrified and closed their mouths in response. Some of them were on the brink of tears or pissing themselves. Spirit continued, "Number one: you bastards have already pissed me off beyond me ever forgiving you. Number two: I don't bargain with punks like you. And Number three: This is mercy." The men's hearts sank at this comment. Spirit placed his foot on the log to give it a final push down the mountain and said "Buh-bye, dipshits." The men screamed, "NO WAIT PLEASE AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" as they went rolling down the side of the mountain.
