Virginia State High School - Spanish Room 209
Lorena sighed as she took a bite of her sandwich, making sure none of the crumbs got on the school work that was laying on her desk that she was supposed to go over during lunch but she kept staring off into space thinking about her girlfriends that were at their own jobs. She eyes her phone before opening the door and shoving her phone into the door, out of sight out of mind Lorena reminds herself before crumbling the sandwich paper and standing up.
Lorena dusted off the crumbs from her skirt and she walked outside, everyone should be at lunch so she would still have time to go over the Spanish work. "Hey, hottie." Lorena groaned as she heard the voice of a jock Quinton Mccann coming from behind her. "Mr. Mccann, shouldn't you be having lunch right about now?" Lorena crosses her arms after tossing the wrapper in the trash. "I was, but then I saw my favorite teacher walk out of her classroom and I couldn't handle myself. I mean this outfit, you're just asking for me to come up to you." Quinton makes a show of looking at her up and down before staring a little bit too long at Lorena's boobs.
"Mr. Mccann, I've told you many times. I'm a teacher and you're a student not to mention you're behavior not only disturbing but also very inappropriate. It would be wise to get out of my sight and get back to lunch before I tell Principal Barnes what happened, you wouldn't want to get another strike now would we?" Lorena wanted to smirk but she hid it, she stepped towards her classroom door and gestured for Quinton to leave, he scowled before walking away shoulders slumped.
Lorena let out a breath of relief before opening her classroom door and walking in it shutting it quickly. This wasn't the first time she's been hit on by her male students even ones that didn't even take her class, it was why Lorena made sure to not wear any revealing clothing but as she looked down at her shirt she knew it wasn't revealing. Lorena was lucky that she worked for a man who did something about the sexualization of women, she knew that was a rarity in 1984 but Lorena hoped it would change.
She pulled the window covering down on the classroom door before walking towards her desk and opens the drawer she put her phone into. She grabs it with a shaking hand before she started to dial Diana's number when she sighed and placed her phone back in the drawer, she ran her hands through her hair before laying her head back on her chair.
She couldn't waste her phone talk minutes on something like this, it happens every day and Lorena wasn't the only one it happened to so she had to let wash over her and she can tell her girlfriends about it tonight. Lorena chewed on her lip before grabbing the stack of Spanish work that she was supposed to look over so she remembered her lesson before grabbing her bag that was under her desk and placing them back in the file compartment that she had them in before opening the drawer that had her backup tests in them.
Lorena glanced at the clock and stood up, she started to place a test on each desk before making her way to the chalkboard and writing Un examen de español out on the board just in time for the bell to ring, she placed the chalk down and walked towards the door and opened it.
Smiling she stood by the door and watched as the students one by one walked into the room with their Spanish books in their arms. "Hola Clase, today instead of the regular work I had planned we're doing a test. If you finish the test before the bell ends I want you all to read pages 145 to 150." Ignoring the groans that came from her students Lorena sat down and gave the nod for her students to start.

Safety? We Got You - 2:00 P.M
Andy fanned herself as she propped her feet on her desk, they just had the second walk-in stop using their service because they saw a woman would be handling the security, but to the bosses shock instead of offering for the man to get another consultant he just told him to leave. Safety? We Got You was a private security company which means it was owned by one person who can make the rules, and one of those unspoken rules is don't treat his employees like shit considering they are also his friends. "Did the 11 am consultant end up working out?" One of Andy's coworkers asked rolling her chair in the middle of her door telling Andy that she rolled from her office.
"Oh yea, it was this old woman who has been experiencing break-ins in her neighbor and she's been feeling unsafe so I said I would check it out as best as I could." Being as it was 1984 the technology wasn't the best but Andy tweaked it so it was better as it could be at least. "Good, boss man told me we had two walkouts after they saw who they were dealing with. I'd say they were just too intimated by how good you look in a pantsuit, mixed like a little misogyny of course but you looked too good." The woman winked at Andy making her chuckle.
"We didn't deserve them anyway." It did make Andy a little sad but there was nothing she could do about people's bigoted opinions. "How're your girlfriends?" The Woman asked nodding her head towards the photo that Andy has on her desk, it was an inconspicuous photo so you wouldn't know if you looked at it but at work, Andy was upfront about who she was dating and she was surprised to get good feedback. "They're good, really good," Andy says as she looks at the photo with a smile on her face.
