Andy blew a piece of hair out of her face, both Andy and Lorena's hair were getting longer because they haven't had time to cut it. She grabs a ponytail holder that was laying on the counter and gathers her hair into a low ponytail. "Would you like me to help you?" Diana asks Andy softly, Andy opens her mouth about to tell Diana how she can do it herself when Lorena's voice comes into her head, telling her that she needs to try. Andy sighs and nods handing Diana the ponytail holder and turns around so her back is facing Diana.
With gentle hands, Diana gathers Andy's hair and pulls it into a low loose ponytail. Andy lets out a breath before turning around. "Thank you," Andy said to Diana begrudgingly. "You're welcome, um. Are you doing anything today?" Diana asks carefully leaning against the kitchen island, Andy thinks about lying but she knows that Diana would see right through her, even now so Andy shakes her head no. "I don't, do you?" Sadly for Andy, Lorena has to work today but Andy was forced to take off so she's alone with Diana the whole day and it feels awkward for Andy, she still holds the resentment but she's doing what Lorena intrusted which is big.
Diana presses her lips together and twiddles her fingers, something that Andy recognizes Diana doing anytime she needs a favor but doesn't know how to ask. "I do have a plan for the day, but I could use your help with it. You can say no and I would understand completely but I really would like your help." Andy thinks about saying no, it would be really easy for her to do but she knows she needs to do this. "Sure, what do you need help with?" Diana looks at Andy in surprise before leading her to towards a self, one that Andy learned to resent since Diana cheated on them.
"Why are we over here Diana?" Andy asks crossing her arms looking at the picture of Steve and Diana that seems to stare right into Andy's soul. Diana held her finger out to give her a minute before she ran into the guest room and came back out with a box. "I thought it was time to do this, I need to move on from Steve in more ways than one so I thought the best place to start was to pack up all the pictures and little trinkets I've had from my time with him. I thought that you could help." Diana huffs out slightly, a smile gracing her lips. "You know that getting rid of his stuff isn't going to make me forgive you faster, right?" Diana's face drops at Andy's comment but she nods. "I do, that's not why I'm doing this but I think it will everyone, not just met. If I put this away in storage to show you and Lorena that I'm moving on. It's way past time and I never should've put these things on the shelf when the three of us moved in." Diana picks up the watch and carefully puts it in the box, Andy turns around so Diana can't see her smirk.
Andy thinks about if she should say that Diana doesn't have to do this but Andy doesn't want to, she likes that Diana is doing this. "Are you sure?" Andy double checks as she grabs the picture of Diana standing under the Trevor ranch sign, Diana hesitates and grabs that picture. She runs her fingers over the Trevor sign before placing it in the box. "I'm sure." For a split second, Andy felt sorry for Diana that she felt she had to do this but she looked at an old picture of Diana and Steve together and once she put it in the box she didn't feel too bad anymore. "What do you think we should put here in replacement?" Andy asks looking at the partially empty shelf.
Diana hums as she grabs a wallet thing that Andy didn't what it was but it was under the watch. "Maybe more books? Or we could our records." Diana nods behind her to their record player with an overflowing collection of records. "Why not both? We can put our record stand in the middle of the shelf and more books to the side." Diana shrugs at Andy, she squatted down and folded the now filled box. She looked up in surprise when Andy gave her some tape that was on the kitchen table.
"I'm gonna put this in the guest room, up in the closet. Thanks for helping me." Diana says smiling as she stands up with Andy's help, Andy's hand felt warm and comforting in Diana's grasp so when Andy pulled away Diana had to resist the urge to frown. "Of course, I'm gonna move our record holder to the shelf." Diana nods as she watches Andy carefully take the records off before walking the divider to the bookshelf.
Diana sighs and balances the box on her open hand as she opens to door to the guest room, compared to the room that Andy and Lorena sleep in the guest bedroom is a sad excuse for a room but it was never supposed to be used. Diana pushes those sad feelings down and walks towards her closet, she moves her Wonder Woman armor out of the way before standing on her tiptoes to push the box full of Steve Treavor's things back into the closet, Diana expected to feel sad, but she doesn't.
She smiles as she walks back towards the living room and starts to help Andy put the records onto the bookshelf. "What do you think Lorena is gonna say?" Diana asks once they're finished and they go to sit on the couch, Diana can tell that Andy isn't fully relaxed which makes her sad when she realizes it's because of her. "I think she's gonna be happy we're getting along." Andy looks at Diana smugly before grabbing the remote and turning on something that they both can watch.
