Unbroken [maze runner fan fic]

Chapter one: I remember

My eyes flew open. Black spots everywhere. "Hello?! Where am I?!" I screamed. This all felt too familiar. I looked around, I was trapped inside of some cold metal box. 'What the hell..?' "Somebody help me!" And then the box came to a dead stop. I looked up to see two wide doors opening. I squinted my eyes to the sun that was beating down towards me. "What the bloody hell?" A blonde boy who looked a bit older than the boys surrounding him said. "What is it?!" I heard another boy scream. "It's a girl" and then everyone gasped. I knew that voice. But I still couldn't get a good look at him. And then he knelt down besides me. "Are you alright?" And that's when I knew where I was. So, I did the only thing I could think of. I screamed. "Hey! Hey! Calm down!" Another boy jumped in the box. I knew who he was right away. "Dylan?!" I said praying he remembered his name. He stepped back. "That's not my name.. My name is Thomas" I stared at him. And then looked over to the older boy "Newt?" He stepped back and nodded. "How in the bloody hell do you know my name, and why do you think his is Dylan?" He said reaching out a hand. I grabbed it quickly before the offer wasn't there anymore. "That's not really even your name" I said quietly. And then everything went black.

Newt's POV~~~

Thomas, Gally, and I placed her down onto the bed. "Is she gonna be alright?" Thomas asked. I looked over at him, that was probably the dumbest question I've heard all day "No bloody idea" I said, walking over to where the girl now lay. "What do you think she meant? By saying that's no really your name?" Thomas asked while putting his palm on the girls head. I watched as Gally walked Thomas's hand off the girl. " who knows what she MENT that's exactly why we're tying her up shank" Thomas's eyes widened. "Is that really necessary?" Thomas asked. I could see the anger rising in his eyes. "I'll take it from here. Get on outta here" I said, grabbing the rope from Gally's dirty hands. "Yeah whatever. Just make sure it's done right Newt. We aren't takin any chances with this one. You've already let that greenie have his way too many times" I just rolled my eyes at that comment. Thomas looked at me, silently asking what I wanted him to do. "Just sit down greenie. I'll take care of this" he looked at me with sad eyes. A part of me wanted to feel bad for the kid, but all of us had been through that stage, so I didn't allow myself to feel bad for him. I finished tying her hands to the back of the bed post, and then sat down next to her and Thomas. "What do we do now?" Thomas asked. "Now we wait" I said patting him on the shoulder.

It had to of been atleast four hours. And not even a sound came from the girl. "I can't sit here anymore, bloody hell I feel like I'll go crazy" Thomas cracked half of a smile. "I'm gonna go check on everyone, you stay here. Understand?" Thomas nodded and I walked outside back into the glade. I watched as Mihno came running back in at the same time I did. He smiled and nodded, as I waved. I walked back around to the sound of FryPan cooking. "Whatcha servin?" I asked "AHH you know the good stuff" he said laughing. "The good stuff eh? What's the occasion?" I said. "There's a girl! She deserves to eat well" I laughed smacking frypan's hand " good that!", I saw Gally from a distance walking into the woods 'what the bloody hell is he doing' I began walking after him, but before I could get any further Thomas ran up to me "newt! Newt! She's up!" He said shouting as he was trying to catch his breath. "Is she now?" I said rolling my eyes at how someone like Thomas could be a runner. "Yeah. And she's pissed" I followed Thomas back up into the medjacks room. And that's when it all got bloody confusing.

ELENAS POV~~~
Am I really tied up right now? This is insane! "LET ME OUT OF HERE!" I screamed trying to break free. "Hey! Hey! Just calm down there okay! Can you tell us your name?" Newt came flying into the room. I blinked to make sure all of this was real. "My name is Elena. But I'm assuming I'll be playing the role of Teresa" I couldn't stand them not knowing who they really were. "The role of Teresa? What are you talking about?" I watched Dyl- Thomas walked out behind Newt. "Listen, I know I sound crazy. But you have to listen to me. This is all happened before. Please." Newt looked over to Thomas. "Fine. One bloody shot to explain what the hell you're talking about greenie" I closed my eyes. "thank you"
