Ace It

Chapter 6

Bunny Boy and I had managed to find a hidy hole that could fit the both of us. After staying there silently for a few hours, we (Bunny Boy), heard everyone go down to eat some dinner. So we decided to put our plan into action. Turns out that both Bunny Boy and I could speak sign language, so we had spoken to each other about our big plan that way. Beast people have very good hearing, so we couldn't speak normally with each other.

We visited every room, and booby trapped them all, even our own rooms. Then we secretly sneak outside to the stables. The stables have some rooms in them, which cost less then the rooms in the house, because some people don't want to pay extra for their servants. However there is no difference in the rooms, besides the fact that these rooms are above the stables, and it is one room, that has many beds. The beds are all single beds, with one cupboard and night table each. The night table doubles as a writing desk, with a tiny chair under it. There are around 18 beds.

"Good night." I call out to Bunny Boy, yawning tiredly. Setting up all those traps, while trying to be quiet but fast, is hard.

"Night." Bunny Boy calls back.

I yawn tiredly as I get out of bed. There had been much screaming and yelling last night. Along with many death threats. I get out of bed and start walking towards the door.

"You're up to?" I hear a tired voice ask. I look over and see Bunny Boy, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He must have just woken up as well.

"Yeah, just heading out to have a bath, and some breakfast." I mutter.

"Bath? You have a pond on this giant tortoise?" Bunny Boy looks at me shocked.

"Sort of. It's sort of like a natural hot spring. Vines shell has a natural dip in the shell that filled up with water, and something manages to keep the water warm. You'll see what I mean when you see it." I say, seeing Bunny Boys confused face.

"Do I also get to have a bath? I don't want to use your dirty water." Bunny Boy scrunches his face up.

"No need to worry. The hot spring is cut into four different sections. The first is a bath for women, and the second is a bath for men. In these baths, you are allowed to get in as long as you have towels wrapped around you, or as long as no one has a problem with it, you can even get in naked. The third bath house is a mixed bath, however you have to wear what I have designed, that are called swim wear. Everyone is allowed to bathe in there, but even if you have everyone's permission, nudity is not allowed. The fourth section is not for bathing, but the water reserve that our drinkable water comes from, and where we fill up the hot springs when the water has become dirty." I explain on our walk to the house.

"What happens to all the dirty water?" Bunny Boy asks me curiously.

"I think Vine has something to do with that. From what I saw, she can somehow take water out of the hot springs, and then fills it up, though she adds something to the water to make it smell nice. The female bath has a floral sort of scent, the male bath has a sort of forest scent, and the mixed bath has no scent. However Vine likes to change the scents every time she changes the water." I explain, walking into the house and forgetting a very big something.

"Ooh, that sounds awesome." Bunny Boy nods his head.

"So... Where were use two all night?" Sarah's voice cuts through our conversation and we freeze, remembering why we had stayed in the barn all night.

"Um, we were hiding from use." Bunny Boy admits quickly, taking one look at Aslan and spilling out the details.

"Hey, why would you use the word hiding?" I look at Bunny Boy angrily.
