A loud slam echoed throughout the second floor as Kei closed the door with an unnecessary amount of force.

The blonde had dragged him into one of the many random rooms in Bokuto's house, his grip practically bruising Kuroo's wrist.

Kuroo was smart enough to know that anywhere within a 5-mile radius of an angry Tsukishima Kei was no place to be while still young and beautiful.

"Woah, Tsukki! No need to be rough! If you wanted me in a room alone all you had to do was say so~!" Kuroo teased, hoping to get a reaction out of the blonde. Kei's face twisted in disgust and quickly ripped his hand away from the raven-haired boy's wrist as if it burned.

"Gross. I'm a minor." Kei said, taking a step away. Kuroo gritted his teeth in annoyance. Lately a certain someone had been using that card on him lately and he would appreciate it if Kei refrained from doing so as well.

Kuroo observed the room and had come to the conclusion that it was the designated billiard room, assuming so because of the pool table right in the center. It was slightly messy, but it was Bokuto's house. He hadn't really expected it to be clean

"Tadashi is totally avoiding me," Tsukishima said through clenched teeth. Kuroo's attention was pulled to the blonde in front of him who turned away, heading towards the bean bag couch in the corner of the room. Kuroo followed.

Once the two sank down into the chair Kuroo was finally able to analyze the younger face better. He was in clear distress. You didn't have to be a genius to know when he was irritated, despite that seeming to be Kei's default setting.

Kuroo was used to seeing Kei like this. Usually when someone did something to particularly annoy him (Usually himself or more often than not Bokuto).

"Elaborate?" Kuroo suggested. He had been aware that the blonde had been irritated from the start of the morning, that being evident in the group chat. Kuroo turned his gaze up to the high ceiling, looking up at the glass roof above them. He's always been grateful for the fact that Bokuto wasn't all that fond of the city. This way, Kuroo is able to have a good look at the stars, even if it's hard to see with the lights shining all throughout the room.

The room is silent for a while. Kuroo assumes that Kei is trying to form the words he needs to vent his frustration. From what Kuroo remembers, Kei has always been like this. It's always taken him a while to say what he wants to say (From what he can assume. He doesn't necessarily come to Kuroo for advice the same way he does with Akaashi).

The silence isn't awkward per se, Kuroo is just eager to know what's got the blonde so upset.

"So while you were busy attempting to save your hopeless love life-"

"Would it absolutely kill you to start a sentence without insulting me in some type of way-"

"-Tadashi and Terushima got here." Kei sighs out.
