⚠️Swearing, Slight Violence.⚠️

--------------------------------------------------

The boys' phone sat next to his ear, as it rang quietly. Kiyoko was nervous but decided, might as well just call the girl and get this conversation over with so he could get to bed.

After a few seconds, she answered. Silence was heard on the other line however so, Kiyoko spoke first.

"Uh, hello? This is the person you gave your phone number to." He paused for a second, letting out a sigh. "I'm just kind of confused, as to why you gave me your number."

Kiyoko waited, it took a minute for someone to respond.

"Ah.. well..." A voice finally was able to be heard, it was quiet and a bit shaky.

"I just, wanted to.. get to know you... You know..?" This girl spoke, in a lower tone. It was unsettling.

"....I'm sorry, I.. have to go..?" Kiyoko said this nervously, then began to lower the phone but abruptly stopped when a yell could be heard.

"Don't! Uh.. please? I really.. want to be your friend..." This girl sounded desperate, which just made Kiyoko more nervous.

"Sorry about this.." He then lowered the phone completely and hung up, setting the device face down on the counter immediately.

He sighed, moving hair away from his eyes and looking around his apartment. Kiyoko stopped leaning on the counter, and began walking to his bedroom.

Opening one of his drawers he'd pull out a change of clothes, then make his way to the bathroom. Although he could already feel himself drifting off to sleep.

Time Skip --- ( Friday 7:47 AM )

This particular alleyway was darker than the rest. He had forgotten why he was even down there, couldn't think of a reason why he would be either. His exhausted body, was close to collapsing.

"There she is, none of them ever run this far.."

A man's voice was heard from behind him, his words spoken in between breaths. He had just been running.

Kiyoko's head slowly turned, finding himself cornered by three grown men.

Oh yeah, now he remembers.

In that moment not only did he find himself noticing minor things, like how bad the trash smelled and how the floor had been damp due to rain earlier that day.. but he also found himself thinking,

'I'm going to die today.'

As if he knew this would happen eventually, he had been running for hours. Trying to escape these three men that wanted specifically to do things to him, which he didn't understand completely.

Kiyoko's expression, was not one of fear or surprise but rather one not even himself could describe. How he felt just then, was exactly how someone who has no regard for their own life feels. Feelings that the unfortunate ones experience, unfortunate lives like  the one Kiyoko had been living.

His head turned back around to the end of the alley, the big garbage can in front of the wall stopped him from running any further.

He was breathing heavily, and he felt that his legs were about to give out at any moment.

Just then, Kiyoko heard a loud slashing noise and a thump. Accompanied by the screams of two other men and fast footsteps.

"Man.. I don't get it. People who pick on little girls for their own satisfaction are super weird."
