The day started unlike any other, I woke up completely forgetting what today was, My friend banged on my door, "Keysloww! Hurry it up before you're late" he said,
This is Church, he's my childhood friend, His mother took me in when i was young after my parents vanished. for some reason I can't remember a single thing about them or my past, his mom Sylvanna is the daughter of the king. Which i guess makes Church royalty. Right now, they're the only family I have"
"I know!" I yelled. Today's the day we're joining a guild, we sent our applications about a month ago. I finally got all my stuff packed and ran out the door, "Hey! Church, wait up!" I yelled running after him. "Hurry it up we got about twenty-five minutes before the Guild Leaves for training" Church yelled back, "I know!" I finally caught up to Church and we both headed to town.
As we entered the large stone gate surrounded by trees from the forest , the guards stopped us and asked where we were going, we showed the guards our Guild ID's and explained to them that we were joining the "Tomorrow" guild, they directed us to the guild recruitment hall.
Passing the many Merchants making their living from selling their wares, and passing the Forge, smoke was Steaming from the chimney, we could hear the boiling of water from the open window of the forge,after we passed the Alchemy shop we arrived at the guild recruitment hall.
We walked into the wooden doors, a woman walked up to us and asked our names, "my name's Church, and this is Keysloww." Church said,
"nice to meet you, i am the guild leader of the Tomorrow Guild, you may call me Quinn", "the guild hall is just this way", Quinn handed us documents and a pen,
We signed some papers for our enlistment into the guild, and we were then asked to follow Quinn, we walked to a completely different building, as we entered, we noticed a man sitting at what seemed to be a bar.
"So it seems like the Rookies are here?" the man said,Quinn Looked at us and looked at him,
"Yea these are the two people who will be joining us. go on introduce yourselves." she said,
"Hello everyone,My name's Keysloww and this is Church" i said,
"What the hell dude?" Church looked at me.
"You did the exact same thing to me earlier, don't "what the hell me." " i said with a grin on my face,
"anyways...The names Aeon,i plan on retiring soon, so i'm mainly just here for the free food" The man spoke "We have two more in the guild but ones currently in the market and the others on a mission" he said
After everyone got acquainted, we headed off to training, after about an hour of walking out to the forest,we arrived at the training grounds, We approached a small Campsite, with Wooden Mannequins Bound to the ground,
There was a small shack ahead of us, Quinn looked at us and said "Wait right here." she walked towards the shed, opened the door and began looking around, noises could be heard from inside, Quinn left the shed and walked up to us, tossing each of us a wooden weapon, she instructed us to train with each other and later on she'll fight each of us to test our skills, me and Church would take turns sparring with Quinn, before I knew it me and Quinn were sparring we kept training for what seemed like hours, then suddenly loud shouting could be heard, "Quinn!" someone yelled, "what is it Mid?" Quinn replied, Mid handed Quinn a paper and began to lean over trying to catch her breath, everyone stopped training and fixed their eyes on the paper Quinn was holding, Quinn looked confused as she read the paper in the envelope, "The King? Wanting an audience with MY guild?" she said, "Wait! I get to meet the king?!" I shouted in excitement, Quinn sighed, "Yes, you will. And you better not embarrass me in front of him." she said with a strict tone, We left for the Palace right away. Guards stopped us as we reached the Palace doors "Halt!" Visits are temporarily Closed until the King resolves the current Situation." they said, Quinn showed the guards the envelope, "Ah, Quinn, my apologies, the King has been awaiting you and your guilds arrival." one of the guards said as he opened the Palace doors. We entered the large gates and walked onto the red carpet leading towards the throne, Guards were assigned all approached the Throne Room and each of us kneeled for the King, "Quinn, it is in utmost urgency that I assign you and your guild the task of rescuing my daughter.", "wait, Sylvanna's been Abducted?" I asked with concern, "Yes my boy, She was taken last night." The King said, "we would be honored to accept your Task, your majesty." ,"where would we look?" I asked, "There's an Abandoned Fort up north in the area, I have sent scouts but none of them have returned." Suddenly a loud noise could be heard as the doors opened and shut, I looked around, Church was nowhere to be found.
