would they be scared to ask you out?

mouth: yes but not too much, he's way too cocky. he'll walk up to you and ask you for your number or to "hang sometimes". deep down he's hoping you say yeah. so when you do he's trying his hardest to keep his excitement down.

joey: yeah, he'd spend months waiting on the 'right time' and miraculously, it never came. it take mouth and a little of book to push him to do it. finally he'd walk up to you and ask you if he could come by your house sometimes to hang. when you said yes he was over joyed, mentally jumping up and down and running in circles.

book: yeah. he was scared. after a week or so his fears died down. he just couldn't ask you in person. so instead he slid a note into your locker and hope you'd come to him about it. he'd do it at the beginning of the day and hope that you'd get to it by the middle or end. by the end of the day when everyone's leaving, you confront him about it, obviously agreeing. he was too excited. smiling from ear to ear has you gave him your number, and excited to tell the boys, his dream girl agreed to date him ;)
