At Mew's Mansion - Gulf's POV

I sat on the edge of the bed, holding the transparent cover which had white powder. 'What is it? Why Tar holding it? It's obvious that he intended to mix this in coffee. Why does he need to mix this? Mew is his brother. Why is his family like this?'

It's obvious that they wanted to do something for Mew. Why? 

Helan- what are you going to do? 

As I promised, I will be with him, protect him. I never let anyone harm Mew. After what he said about his family when we came back from his mother's home, I definitely am going to protect him whatever it takes. 

Flashback

We have reached home. After entering the house, "Mew, we need to talk." I asked him. I can't delay this when danger is lurking around him. 

He looked at me by tilting his head. I just nodded at him saying that I wanted to. 

"Let's sit, Baby." Mew said. We both sat beside each other on the sofa. 

"Tell me baby, What do you want to talk about?" He asked me. 

"Tell me about your family."  I asked him. He tilted his head looking at me. Maybe he is thinking about why I am asking him. 

"I already told you baby before going to my mother's home."  He said. It's true, he told me but I want to know the truth behind their fake smiling faces. 

"I know Mew. You already told me but it's not what I want to know. I didn't get good vibes around James and Tar. So I want to know the real and complete story about your family." I didn't mention his mother's name, I know he loves his mother so much. I will handle her alone. 

He thinks for a while, then "What's the use of telling you baby? After you gain your memories, you will leave me and forget about me." He said in a sad tone while pouting. This kid, a giant baby pouting his thin lips. Can I bite it? 

Helan- Hold yourself, ask him properly. 

*roll eye on Helan* 

"Mew, didn't I promise you that I will be with you always?" I said to him but he showed me his confused face. What? Did he forget? 

"When? Where?" He asked me desperately. How dare he forget about my promise? 

"How did you forget?!! That day when you had a nightmare, I slept beside you. That day I promised you!!" I said in an almost shouted voice. 

"I thought it was a dream." I rolled my eyes as he said. 

He turned completely towards me. 

"Really? You will be with me even if you remember everything?" He asked me as he held both of my hands. His eyes are literally sparkling now. Galaxy will be ashamed if it saw his eyes now.
