Finals are coming up. I should be able to squeeze in a light review today but then I'd have to cancel my plans on inspecting the daycare center. Hmm, what to do?

"Ora. Ora. ORA!"

What?

What was that?

I heard some scuffling in the alleyway. Every horror movie has taught me to run the fuck away but then again I am that stupid character that just needs to satiate my curiosity. But if it's some creepy cult shit I'm running the fuck away. Yes, I know, swearing isn't lady-like at all but I'm at my wits end with the dozens of folders of my potential suitors flooding my room. Give me a break!

I quickly peeked and marveled at what I saw. Raw, unfiltered, unpolished potential. There were about four boys in that alleyway, three of which seems to be part of some gang based on their appearance yet are all sprawled on the filthy ground. A younger boy was continuously beating one of them, knuckles all bloody, eyes sparkling in glee, and grinning from ear to ear. With some discipline and training he would make an excellent bodyguard.

There was some shuffling near the wall behind them and it looked like a young girl that would almost become a victim of harassment. I made my way to her and helped her stand. It seemed like she was still in shock. I called the police and asked her to wait with me for the authorities to make way. Luckily, the station was close so it only took a few minutes. The young man was still in his little world of torment and didn't notice the cops about to arrest him with the offenders.

"Officer, I thank you for coming here so soon. This young man was able to save us both. Thankfully, we weren't harmed but my companion here is still in quite the shock."

He surveyed my form and wisely kept his mouth shut. Still panting and filthy, he bowed to the officers and thanked them. We watched them take the offenders into custody and the girl to a hospital to get a once over.

"Hi, I'm Yui, Matsumoto Yui."

"Baji Keisuke." And just like that he left.

Interesting.

...

I think fate is playing a game with me.

I keep on bumping into Baji Keisuke for the past two weeks now. Shopping in the market, a walk by the riverbank, sometimes passing by an alleyway where he is yet again having a brawl. Fate, can you get any more obvious? This time we saw each other in the library where I saw him bring up a notebook titled 'Matz' that was completely blank as he flipped through it therefore despairing at his predicament. I approached him hiding my amusement at his situation and took a the seat in front of him.

"Why hello Baji Keisuke, nice to see you here." I gave him a smile as I lowered my bag to the floor.
