Back to that night

"Ugh 5:30 already?" I stopped my alarm, and got out of bed. The first thing I wanted to do was text Diane, but as usual she only gets up at 6:30 AM on school days. As my dad always says, "Ms. Diane always loves a head start" then he always kisses me on the head. I get up in my abacrombe shorts, and nirvana t-shirt and make breakfast for my dad. My dad works as a firefighter, so he always gets up a little earlier than me. He works hard, and I love making some breakfast for him. "Hello honey, what are you making?" "Good morning dad" I give him a giant hug "I'm making pancakes for you!" He smiles and gives ne a hug, then gets ready for work. My mom's asleep she works as a vetinarian and goes to work after I go to school. My highschool starts at 10:00 but I have alot to do until then. I serve my dad breakfast and we talk about school, then jobs, then colleges. Since I'm a senior, and I just turned 17, it's relevent that we talk about those kinds of things. I just turned 17 exactly one week ago, and school started this week, now it's Friday. As my dad's leaving for work I say "Hey dad I'm going to have a sleepover at Dianes tonight" he says back "Okay love you, come give me a hug" I give him a hug and as I hug him I say "Love you dad, be safe don't get hurt" he says back "I won't sweetie."

I watch him leave and I close the garage. "Now it's time to run!" I get my running clothes on and run 3 blocks. Then I come back and take a shower. By then it's 7:30 and I have nothing else to do. So I make my bed, pick up some spare scraps that might be on my floor and I go watch some pretty little liars. 2 hours paas by and now it's 9:30. I put out some food for my mom and wrote a note for her saying "Love you mom, have a great day." I leave and I noticed that I had forgotten to give my dad his lunch "Oh crap" I go back inside, grab his lunch and drive 20 minutes to his work luckily my highschool is 10 minutes away for his work. When I get to school I am greeted by Diane.
"HEY SIS!!" we consider ouselves sisters since we've been friends since the 1st grade. "Hey! Ready for our sleep over?!" I say "Of course! When am I not prepared?" We walk together to class then we meet again after school. We don't have any classes together so it's kind of hectic.
