Chapter 11 (Surprise)

🌻: The next day

"Good morning love" I greeted her

"Morning "she said with a recovering kiss

"Would you like me to cook you breakfast?" I asked her

She just nodded and headed to the bathroom

"Love, are you okay?" I asked her

"Yes, I'll just take a shower. Will you come along?" She asked me

"All right," I sparingly replied

"You'll be my breakfast"

"It's early marvin for that matter "

"So what, I want to"

~ fast forward ~

"What time is it?" I asked her

"Its 10:34 am, why? Are you leaving?" She asked me

"No. I would have cooked you breakfast, but we're going to have lunch "I said to her

"As much as you know, it's too early" she scolded me.

"All right, get dressed. We still have work" she added

🌻: 1 week after.

"Love, I have something to say" he said

"Me too, you first" I said

“I’m regular at work” he said happily

"Positive"

“Love what's positive?" He asked me

"Its positive" I showed the pregnancy test to him

"Finally !! Our dream of building a family will come true" he said as if he was very eager to see our future child.

"Love, I'll buy your cravings right away. So I don't have to go out" he added.

"I don't have cravings yet" I said

"Even though, just wait for me. I'll just buy something" he said as he exited the gate

"Marvin is so excited" I replied

Soon after, he arrived home. But I fell asleep.

"Love, do you know the weird foods I bought you hahaha." He said

"Look, maybe I don't want anything" I got up immediately

"What? You have a choice?" He asked me because I was stunned

“You know love, you’re disappointing” I said

"Why? Is there something wrong with what I bought? I can change it if you want?" He asked me

"No, I mean. You're disappointing because you know everything I want" I hugged him once

"I thought you would get angry "he added

"No, why would I be angry for no reason?" I said

"By the way, tomorrow, love, I'll be at work. You're the only one here "he said to me so I wouldn't ask him tomorrow

"It's ok, I work from home, let's go together" I said

🌻: The next day!!

"Love, I'm leaving" he said goodbye to me with another kiss on the forehead

"Bye, take care!" I sparingly respond, and wave.

I cleaned the house, it was a bit messy. I also often get morning sickness, my throat is already a bit sore. Later on, Marvin called me.

"Love, how are you? Did you eat breakfast?" He asked

"Yes, im fine. Always morning sickness makes me hungry." I replied

"Eat when you're hungry huh? All right, love, I'll come inside, take care. Love you" he said goodbye before entering the office

"Bye" I sparingly respond

*Call ended*

~fast forward. It's already out in our work~

Marvin's pov:
I was on my way home when my co workers suddenly invited me to drink alcohol at the bar. I could not refuse them so I agreed.

~fast forward~

“Oh marvin, still drink a lot"

"Nahh, that's enough. My wife has been waiting for me plus she's pregnant I don't want her to worry about me"

"Ok then, see you tomorrow morning"

"Byee"

I'm going to walk near our gate. I came to life when I saw zen

"Where have you been? ”she asked me

"At work. I was just told how much work I finished" I replied

"Is it really at work? You smell like alcohol" she said

"Sorry" I sparingly replied

"Come in and take a bath there, you stink" she ordered me

Later I finished taking a bath and went up to our room. I saw zen lying down and she also looked tired from work.

"Love, go to sleep." I ordered her

"I'll just have something to eat" she said as she turned the door nob

I noticed traces of blood on her dress as well as on the bed. That's why I immediately told her.

"Love, there's blood on your dress" I said

When she touched it, she shivered and looked at me.

"Why?" I asked her

"Love, take me to the hospital." She said

I no longer asked her and I loaded her into our car and drove away.

~Hospital~

"It's good sir, and you brought mrs. Here to the hospital early, or else you lost your child. It's good that the baby is strong. But mommy still has some milk to drink." The doctor said

Plus, mrs. Don't give her headache especially if she is stressed. All right, I'll come out so you can talk properly. Doctor said.
