It's my birthday! There's about like 20 presents all wrapped up in the living room. Yet I have to wait until three 'o' clock when everybody comes. Jack is coming too with all my friends from the orphanage! I told him I'll make sure he gets an extra big slice of cake and he gets to open my presents with me! I messaged him about what happened and he's going to be making sure that she doesn't lay a finger on me.
Jack's POV
Today over ANYTHING else i'm making sure that Charlie doesn't lay a finger on Emily. She never did anything wrong and she never deserved any of what happened to her. I am going to protect her with my whole life. She doesn't need to go through that again. I can't imagine how she felt throughout it. Im 18 now but me and her used to get along really well. I've learnt that I cannot protect her anymore. I was like an older brother figure to her and she was like a little sister to me. I used to brush her hair and do her make up which was so funny as I was never good at it! She's grown up so fast. I remember when she was only eight and we had a dance party and we had a lot of fun. Today I can protect her again, and I refuse to back down.
