THE SOUND of splashing waves hit the rocks near the beach is calming me down while I'm outside enjoying the weather.
It's been a few days since we were at the Christmas dinner at Axel's grandparent's house. After Axel gave me the promise ring we stayed up and watched some movies. I also gave him the present that I bought here in Puerto Rico while we where walking around town. I gave him some boxing gloves because he talked about his boxing gloves being ripped and overused. So, I bought him that and I also gave him something that I did on my own. It was a jar with 365 notes that he can open up one every morning.
I was still thinking about Ricardo's words and tried to make them out. I came to the conclusion that he was obsessed with Axel and the leader position.
Axel has been busy the last few days because something happened back in New York and he needs to care of it. That's why we have been spending our days here at the beach house. I've been keeping myself busy by reading, swimming, and sunbathing.
I was currently laying on the sunbathing chair and enjoying the sun that was shining on me. I heard the door of the backyard open up and close again. I knew it was Axel so I didn't bother opening my eyes. He sat down next to me on the other chair and didn't say anything. I turned my head to him and saw he had his head in his hand while rubbing it roughly.
''Are you okay?'' I asked worriedly. I pushed myself up with my elbows and stared at him.
He sighed and looked at me. ''Yeah, just stressed,'' he mumbled. I sat up and turned my body towards him. ''What happened?''
''The Cartels are moving fast and they have a strategy. I'm worried about my parents who are in Mexico trying to fix everything,'' he explained.
I stood up and sat next to him. ''I know telling you that you shouldn't be worried is a lie so I'll just be going to remain you that your parents know what they are doing,'' I assured and placed my hand on his shoulders.
He gently grabbed my hand from his shoulder and brought it to his mouth. He placed small kisses onto it while he stared down.
''I'm lucky to have you,'' he smiled and tilted his head to the side, looking at me.
I opened my mouth to say something but I was interrupted by the loud doorbell from the house. I looked up and then back to Axel with furrowed brows. ''Are we excepting someone over?''
He shook his head and stood up with me while holding my hand. I grabbed a robe and put it in because I was in my bikini.
We got back inside and then walked up to the door while Axel was still holding onto me. He opened the door and revealed two guys with huge smiles on their faces. The first guy had green eyes with hickory brown hair. The other one was very tall and had brown eyes with dirty blond hair.
