Yandere Ares vs Yandere Athena w/ the same darling (romantic)

-Right off the bat, there is no way in the seven circles of hell is Ares or Athena going to share with each other. They are too alike to the point of budding heads and it would be an overall shitshow for both them and their darling. Besides, their darling may not survive dealing with both of them together, take that as you will.

-Both Athena and Ares are possessive and controlling gods, they want everything their way and that's how it's going to be. Once they find out the other has their eye on the same darling, they're at each others throats. Ares will be the first to confront Athena, he's enraged that she thinks she can steal you away from him, like hell he'd let that happen.

-Athena would take a smarter approach, at first. She'll try to make herself out to be the better of the two, snubbing and downplaying Ares any chance she got. She wouldn't hold anything back, neither would Ares.

-They both would make sure you knew who you belonged to, who was really better then the other one. They would definitely try to put you against the other, but you'll end up despising both of them in the end, not like they care once they've gotten caught up in this intense rivalry with each other.

-Gods help you if you were to run to Athena to get away from Ares, that would cause absolute chaos and havoc. Ares isn't a patient or very understanding man, especially when he's angry. He'll act without thinking, fueled completely by emotion and his need to have you, to be in possession of you that he'd go blindly to war to have you back with him.

-Speaking of which, you're completely a possession in all of this. Your feelings don't have any means to either Athena or Ares, even if Athena tries to gain your trust by pretending to care about your needs. You're something for them to possess and keep ahold of, something to show off, a reminder of what they took from the other. Whether they actually cared for in the beginning or not, they'll surely be blinded by their rivalry in the end.

-There is no doubt that both of them would start an all out war for you, causing Zeus to surely step in and sort it out. You'll most likely be given to Athena due to Zues' favoritism. Or maybe if Ares whines enough, Zeus may actually throw him a bone and give you to him, just to shut him up.

-Ares would also start as many wars as he can if you're given to or take by Athena. He'll cause an uproar just to have you back with him, causing Zeus or Hera to step in once more. Then you'll be taken by Zues or Hera, away from both Athena and Ares. Who knows what your fate will be with them, maybe a lot better then with either Athena or Ares. (Maybe Zeus and Hera will strike their own obsession with you?)

-Your fate with either Ares or Athena won't be a very good one. They'll hold everything they've done over your head, even if you wanted nothing to do with either of them. They'll blame you for the wars, the carnage and chaos they both had their own hands in. No matter who you end up with they'll make sure you know and remember everything they did for you.
