Minho's pov

“Did you find anything?” San asked as Jisung and I came back to the others. He was already packing his equipment and I noticed paramedics approaching with a hospital bed to escort the body to hospital.

“Yeah, we found this.” Jisung showed them the phone. “We will send it to Yeonjun so he can look through it. Maybe, he will find something useful.”

“We are going to watch the security camera record now,” Jeongin informed us. “We were asked to examine it better.”

“I am not needed anymore, so I can take the phone to Yeonjun. I can update you on what’s new,” San suggested and Jisung agreed, handing him the phone and also the car keys.

“Be careful on your way. In case someone follows you, drive back.”
After San left, we all headed to the police station.

“Here you can see Hyunjin enter the property,” the cop said, pointing at a very inconspicuous looking person dressed in all black. He was holding a huge bag he threw over the fence before climbing over it himself. He smashed a window and got into the house.

“And after a few minutes...” the guy announced, speeding through the video until we could see Hyunjin come out from the back of the house, now without the bag. He climbed through the fence again, stopping in the middle of the pavement for a while. He looked straight into the camera, pulling down a mask to reveal a smirk.

It’s him...” Jisung whispered. He looked like he saw a ghost, lips trembling when he spoke.

Next thing we know it, Hyunjin waved at someone and a car pulled up. The boy got in and they drove off.

“Hey, go back.” Jeongin pushed himself closer to the monitor. The cop did as he was told, rewinding the video. The car came back, Hyunjin was back outside. “Stop here.”

“What do you see?” Jisung’s father asked and Jeongin pointed at something on the monitor, smirking.

“The license plate. It’s clearly visible.”

“Good job, In,” Jisung said. “Go find out who’s the owner of the car.”

“Yep,” the boy saluted, writing the set of numbers and letters into his notes, before leaving the room.

The cop pressed play again. “Let’s watch the rest.”

We could see the assistant walking into his house and after five minutes, he started running out, falling to his knees and collapsing, before the bomb exploded, shaking the security camera. I took a sharp intake of breath and looked away.

“So, he died before the explosion, meaning his water or food was poisoned and Hyunjin set the bomb just in case? Or maybe, set it to get rid of clues?” I wondered out loud.

“He knew there were cameras watching him. He wanted us to see. It’s probably a message or...a warning,” Mister Han said, shaking his head.

Jisung nodded at both of our statements, before he turned to the guard. “Was there no one watching? I thought we had people watch the most important figures to my father. How could this happen?”

“My colleague who was on the shift was found unconscious. The police already interrogated him in the hospital, but he only told them that he was monitoring the cameras, before he felt something hit him in the head and he passed out.”

Jisung sighed and rolled his eyes. “Alright...At least we have something. The license plate, the phone... Please send this recording to Choi Yeonjun.”
