Chapter 1- New beginnings

Hazel pulled into Edenbrook's parking garage just as the sun was starting to come up. She made her way to the Staff entrance around the back, towards the ambulance bay. However She then heard a very familiar voice call out. "Hazel, over here!" It was none other than her most favorite person ever, Bryce.

His dark brown hair still glistened with water from his post workout shower. "Fancy seeing you here," he says slyly. His attitude was always right between being cocky and confident, but never overly so. Always just the right amount to make you laugh, but never think he was overly arrogant. Hazel chuckled and responded with,"yeah I thought I'd just stop by to see my favorite Scalpel jockey before I have to go in." Bryce smirks endearingly before saying," I most definitely am your scalpel jockey," he says teasingly. They then share a quick hug and kiss before Hazel starts walking inside. However not before hearing," HAVE A GOOD DAY," echo Behind her. Turning to see a wink from Bryce shot at her. She responds back by throwing a small air kiss and a wave at him.

Once inside Hazel Spied a few of her former roommates getting on the elevator. All of which had not surprisingly stayed at Edenbrook after their residences. She approaches then, and as they see her they hold the door open. "Well good morning Dr. Rose, head of the diagnostic team," Jackie says jokingly. Her other former roommate Sienna was there as well, who had decided to recently transfer to pediatrics where her true calling was. "Good morning Hazel," she says happily. Her pure sunshine personality always shining through. As they hit the button for their respected floors, they chatted about how completely different Life was compared to just a few short months ago. One by one getting off until it was Hazels stop. She excited the elevator and headed for the diagnostic office, excited for her first day as it's leader.
