(DISCONTINUED)Mechs and Monsters (Godzilla/transformers prime crossover)

Chapter Two

Starscream believed that Megatron had finally lost it. Inviting those..Fleshies on board had to of been his worst idea yet. They didn't even look at all appeasing. A cyborg space dinosaur, three headed dragon, weird skeleton-humanoid thing, giant crab, giant fire bird, some ugly asymmetrical behemoth, a giant bug and some literal toxic sludge. He was glad he wasn't the only one who hated these creatures, Knockout agreed with him. Starscream finally mustered up the courage to confront one of these monsters, not even believing them to be sentient.

He walked up to the weird looking skeletal one. 'Monster X' he believed it was called. He tapped it on the shoulder. The creature turned quickly and scowled at Starscream.
"What the hell do you want?"
"I just want to know what your plan is, fleshy."
Monster X raised an eyebrow.
"Plan?"
"There's no way you simply want to help us. Why are you here?"
Monster X glared at him.
"We are here because we face a being we cannot beat on our own. However this thing has been trapped from what we can tell so I am unsure why this alliance was even made.."
"And what is this creatures name?"
"..."
"Godzilla"

Optimus had barely any time to react before Gigan charged at him, scythes slashing across his abdomen. Gigan then turned and fired a cluster laser at Arcee, knocking her off her feet. He then tried to aim at Bumblebee but was halted by Optimus punching him in the face and knocking him back he tried to recover but was fired at by the Autobots. He shielded himself with his arm as the barrage stopped. He stood up and gave a cold stare towards the Autobots.

"Alright i'll admit. You're tougher than you look."
Optimus spoke up,
"Gigan stand down. We outnumber you three to one."
Gigan smirked
"Three to two actually."
Optimus was confused until something clashed into the back of his head, knocking him off balance. Gigan took this chance to rush forward and sweep Optimus' legs, causing him to fall over. Gigan stood on his back and raised his scythe, preparing to stab him through the chest however he was stopped by Bumblebee tackling him. Arcee went to help but was halted by something blocking her path. It looked like a large fiery bird. The thing glared at her before clapping his wings making a shockwave that knocked her back. It chuckled at her.

Gigan kicked Bumblebee off of him blasted him back with a cluster beam. He then focused on Optimus, who was standing back up after being tripped over. Gigan walked up to him and slashed him with his scythe across the chest, laughing as he yelled out in pain. Optimus could of sworn he saw the fiery bird give a look of disgust at Gigan's sadistic assault. Gigan prepared to slash the leader of the Autobots again but stopped as Bumblebee grabbed onto his arm. Gigan scoffed and kicked him away only to turn to a large metal fist come flying at his face. He had no time to react and was sent stumbling backwards. When he steadied himself he stood back away from the Autobots and was joined by the fire bird.
"Gigan they outnumber us. It would be wise to retreat."
"No Rodan. We can win this."
Rodan scowled at Gigan.
"Ghidorah doesn't want a dead second-in-command. We must retreat"
"Fine.."
Gigan turned and glared at the Autobots.
"You win this time, freaks"
And with that he flew away, Rodan swiftly following him.

Optimus sighed in relief as the monsters left. He turned around to make sure Arcee and Bumblebee were okay.
"What the hell were those things?" Asked Arcee. Bumblebee beeped in agreement.
"I do not know. However what I do know is that we must rise up and overcome this new threat." Arcee and Bumblebee nodded. Optimus then called Ratchet, requesting a ground bridge. And as the Autobots walked through the swirling green portal, nothing prepared them for seeing Mothra with a large Ankylosaur and a dog-lion humanoid standing in their base.

Gigan was dreading telling Ghidorah about his failure. He smirked however. His high status would allow him to pin the failure on Rodan. Gigan didn't earn his position because of strength or intelligence. He earned his spot of SIC because he was the most loyal and most cunning of them all. Destoroyah may of been stronger than Gigan and also really intelligent, but his suspicious behaviour made him untrustworthy to have as second in command. Destoroyah's power however did grant him Third in command status

Rodan was not pleased with what happened. Knowing that Gigan would use him as a scapegoat made him even more angry. He was never respected among his piers. He hated his job so much he often considered joining the other side.

...

Maybe that would be the smartest move. He would be killed by the others if they knew he considered this But.. The defenders of earth were most likely nicer than the ones who wanted to take over the planet. He was unsure on what to do.
Maybe a rest in his room would help.
