Chapter 5

Destroyah was annoyed. He finally got to leave the ship and it was for a treasure hunt? This better be worth it.

He had finally hit something underground while digging when a groundbridge opened near him and out stepped the Autobots, Mothra and Anguirus. Gigan walked next to him.

"The vehicons can get the item. Let's fight" he said as he grinned. He turned towards Mothra. "The bug is mine".

Gigan spread his fins and burst into the air, Mothra following after him. Destoroyah watched them fly up before turning towards the rest. He smirked.

"Hope you fools put up a fight. It's very boring on that ship." he said as he got into a fighting stance.

Optimus turned to Bulkhead, Arcee and Anguirus, gesturing for them to take the Vehicons and Starscream. They nodded and moved out. Optimus then turned to Destoroyah, also getting into a fighting stance.

Meanwhile, Gigan and Mothra were fighting in the air, trading blows. This continued until Gigan was able to kick Mothra down, causing her to crash into the ground. Gigan landed next to her.

"Stay down" he said as he walked away. Mothra glared at him but let him go. As soon as he was out of sight she got up and flew back to the battlefield.

Bulkhead was about to go fight the Decepticons when he heard a voice from below him.

"Woah, these kaiju are super cool."

Bulkhead looked down and saw Miko and Jack standing below him. Bulkhead sighed.
He then pointed towards a nearby rock.

"Go hide behind there, when the battles finished, i'll come get you."

The two obeyed, Miko looking disappointed. Bulkhead then turned back to the Decepticons, just to meet a missile to the face.

Bulkhead recovered and looked up to see Starscream, who was readying another missile before a large spiky ball crashed into him, sending him away. The ball uncurled, showing itself to be Anguirus.

"I'll handle this guy, you get the relic." he said.

Bulkhead nodded and went to where the relic was, only to see a large red claw pick it up

Destoroyah struck first, charging forwards delivering a punch that Optimus dodges. However, Destoroyah spins around, tripping the Prime up. He then grabs Optimus' leg and slams him on the ground again, stunning him. He punches Optimus in the face before flying over to the relic. He picks it up and examines it.

It seems to be some type of large gun. Gigan landed next to him, kicking away a green Autobot as he landed. Gigan seemed to recognise the weapon.

He chuckled to himself.
"The absolute zero cannon. Highly dangerous. Freezes almost anything the blast hits."

Destoroyah grinned at this, aiming the cannon at Bulkhead as he was getting up. Destoroyah fired the cannon, the beam pushing Bulkhead back. Once the beam had dissipated, Bulkhead had a large layer of ice on his torso plate.

Gigan lost his smile.
"It must not be fully powered." He was about to call a ground bridge when he spotted something behind a rock. His large smile came back.

"Keep a hold of that cannon." he said to Destoroyah.

"I've got some bugs to squash"

Miko was watching the battle. These kaiju were so cool! She didn't regret running through that ground-bridge.

Jack however, was stressing out. If any of those villains see them, they're dead. There was no one to protect them. Which is why he was terrified when the robotic bird turned its head towards them, seeming to look him dead in the eyes.

When it started moving towards them, Jack pushed Miko behind the rock. Jack peeked his head past the stone to see that Gigan was gone. Jack let out a breath of relief before turning to Miko just to see a large visor staring at both of them from the other side of the rock.

"Run!" he yelled.

The two humans started running for their lives as Gigan followed behind them. He laughed to himself.

"I love it when your little insect feet try to RUN!" he taunted as he flipped the boulder over, almost crushing the humans. He chased after them, almost impaling them with his scythes.

Gigan then had them pinned, stabbing his scythes beside the humans. Gigan merely stared at them, relishing in their fear. Well. The male one's fear. The female had a determined look on her face.

Without Gigan knowing, Miko had picked up a large stone. Miko saw her opportunity, as Gigan had leaned down the look at them closer. Miko ran forward, smashing the rock against Gigan's visor.

A small crack appeared on Gigan's vision. Barely there. Gigan looked at Miko and chuckled.

"You got guts kid"

His visor began charging up energy.

"Too bad they're about to be spilled on the ground."

Just before Gigan could blast the humans, Arcee came and delivered a kick to Gigan's jaw. Knocking him away. Before he could retaliate, Mothra had arrived and blasted him with beams from her antennae. Gigan looked around, seeing he was outnumbered, and spread his fins.

"Killjoys!"

and Gigan had flown away.

Destoroyah was fighting Optimus again, missing his punches as the leader of the Autobots kept dodging. Destoroyah however, saw an opening and fired the absolute zero cannon at the Prime, causing him to stagger and try and remove the ice on his body. Destoroyah took this opportunity to fire his micro-oxygen beam at Optimus, causing him to fly back

Optimus got back up and ran at Destoroyah, dodging his punch and stabbing him in the side with his sword.

Destoroyah grabbed him and threw him away and then turned around, seeing that Gigan had called for a ground bridge and was entering it now.

He took one last glance at Optimus before flying away into the ground bridge.

Optimus met up with the remaining Autobots and they returned to base via ground bridge.

After returning to base Mothra wanted to talk with Optimus.

"I believe it would be the best option for me to awaken one last ally that I know of.
Although, he is very powerful and not one for taking orders."

Optimus nodded in agreement.

"Where is he located?"

"He is frozen in Antarctica. We will need explosives to get him out."

"I know someone with explosives. What is this kaiju's name?"

"Godzilla."
