--Luka's pov--

I hummed the tune to the song my father wrote recently, just for me. I smiled. It had such a happy tune.

Leisurely, I strolled to school. As I came closer and closer to the huge building, I noticed my humming dropping a pitch, so it sounded melancholy. I hummed in confusion. This only happens to me if some melancholy tragedy was about to strike.

There was quite a crowd on the next road I needed to cross. I walked quickly to it and made my way through the mob. Then I saw her. My heart broke in half as I screamed, "MARINETTE!" She reached her arm up faintly and it fell right back down. I noticed a grey limo near the incident and a certain blonde boy. I also saw his bodyguard stepping out of the limo and the brown-haired girl in my school whose tune was a bit awry. It clicked in my mind what exactly had happened.

I went closer to Marinette and bent down. I saw an open wound just below her eye and her badly bruised leg. She was fine mostly, but I think she hit her head hard on the road. I tried not to cry as I picked her up and carried her towards the hospital. Before going, I looked back to the blonde-haired boy and saw a flicker of light in his otherwise dark and mysterious eyes. He was once jolly and jovial but the awry girl had made his tune out of place as well. I could tell Marinette had quite a liking for him, so I made sure not to punch him in the face for doing this to my- friend. I sighed. She was just a friend, after all.

                                                                 ---

I sat down and waited calmly for the doctor as Marinette's dad paced around, crying. I felt bad for him because recently, I knew a lot had happened to him, some things Marinette didn't even know yet. I had tried several times to get him to sit down but in vain.

The doctor finally came out with an unreadable expression on his face. I sighed and hoped everything was fine with my friend.

"She is ok, for the most part. We are suspecting mild amnesia since she hit her head very hard but other than that Marinette is in good shape."

I smiled. I knew she would be ok. Tom hugged me so hard I can barely breathe. I gasped for air till he let me go and motioned for him to go meet Marinette first.

In the meantime, Chloe and Alya along with Nino (my sweet poor boy I needed him somewhere in this story) rushed in and panted. I smiled at Chloe and told them Marinette was ok for the most part. They cheered and I let them go meet her next.

While waiting, I texted my sister Juleka to come and visit Marinette too. I knew Alix and Mylene didn't like Marinette that much so I didn't bother tell them. I almost send it when I wondered, is Juleka on Marinette's side? I couldn't know for sure, so I sent the message anyway.

A few seconds later, the message showed up as read. Then, it showed three dots to indicate Juleka was texting back. I hoped she would be on Marinette's side. But, the texting dots disappeared. I waited for a few seconds to see if it reappears, but it didn't. I looked at my phone in confusion. Was Juleka... on Alix and Mylene's side? I frowned. Even my own sister believed Lila Rossi over Marinette. My poor Marinette.

The girls and Nino come out of the hospital room, glad. I was happy to see them happy. That meant Marinette remembered them, at least. I went in to meet her next.

When I walked in next,  I saw Marinette asleep. Then suddenly, she opened her eyes. I looked at her and smiled.

"I'm glad you're ok, Marinette." I said. She looked at me in sheer confusion. Then, she uttered words I never wanted to hear.

"Who are you?"
