Amelia's pov ;

Today i was going to to tell Maggie and Mer about Arizona. I was slightly nervous of what they'd think of me but i was also happy and excited. Me and Arizona carpooled today and now we were at work. I walked up to Maggie and Mer at lunch and sat down. "So...?" Mer said and i raised an eyebrow. "What?" I said. "Amelia don't play dumb we know you're seeing someone. You never come over anymore." Maggie said. "W- what? What do you mean... i do come home. Sometimes. But thats not the point- the point is i have a house.. that i live in. And a life... that i also happen to live in. Im a surgeon im not home every hour of the day." I said knowing i needed to tell them. "Yeah okay..." Mer said. "But seriously who is it??!!" Maggie said. I was getting reallt frustrated and ended up blurting out "God! IT'S ARIZONA." very loudly. Maggie and Mer opened their eyes wide and Arizona looked at me. "Shit. I didn't mean to-." I just shut up because in that moment i knew there was absolutely nothing i could do that could make anything better. "You. And Arizona? Amelia why did you tell us?" Mer said.

"Because i wasn't sure if you guys would support me- and i just im not out to anyone except her and we are pretty serious and have been for a while so i'd like it if you didn't ruin it." I said rambling. "Do you love her?" Maggie asked. "Yes, yes i'm inlove with her. And i want to marry her someday, build a life with her." I said. "Amelia we support you 100%, you should have never doubted that. We love you." Mer said and i smiled big. "Thank you two. I love you both endlessly." I said. "And yeah. Arizona is my girlfriend." I got up and said loud enough so everyone could hear and everyone clapped for some reason. "Thanks?" I laughed. I walked up to Arizona and kissed her. "I love you." she said. "I love you too." I said.

Arizona's pov ;

Today Amelia told everyone at the hospital that we were dating. I am so happy. I was gonna wait for her either way, until she was ready but now i want to propose. We've been together for a little over a year now. It seems like time flies. When you met the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Whether you get to or not, which i this case i hope i do. I had to do a big gesture, but not everyone from the hospital just a few close friends, even get some of her LA friends here to see it. I love her so much and i just want her to be happy, happy with me.
