Chapter 6: Devil's Pact

When Skaii got to the clubroom that evening Jacy was sitting at his desk, Misty was with him looking over the paperwork whilst the Twins had fallen asleep on the sofa next to Alyssa who had just arrived. Melody entered the room with Skaii in tow. Jacy smiled at Skaii as she came in before starting to give instructions for the evening.

"Ok then, Melody, your regular's requested you so, that's your first stop. Alyssa, you've got two requests right now, even the Twins have one tonight" he looked at Skaii. "are you ready for your magic training?" Skaii nodded excitedly.

"I'm ready," She said. Jacy got up and headed over to her.

"Let's go then," He said, leading the way.

"Good luck, I'd come with you but my Regular... she doesn't like waiting too long," Melody giggled. Skaii smiled and gave her a quick hug.

"I'll catch up with you later," Skaii said happily. Jacy took her outside and started by having her practice the spell she'd already made once she could use it to some effectiveness, he decided to test it.

"Ok then, let's see how strong of a heal it is then, no Sacred Gear enhancement just your own strength okay?" He said. Skaii nodded.

"Okay," She said and started focusing on her spell, concentrating hard. Jacy cast a spell of his own, the ground below him erupted, blasting himself with fire. "ughhh.... That didn't tickle... ok, go" He instructed. Skaii did as he asked and released her spell, hoping that it healed for a decent amount. Jacy stayed down for a moment but after a few seconds, he got up totally healed.

"Wow, that's really strong, slow though so it's not gonna be an effective damage counter. Let's try your Sacred Gear's heal," he said, impressed. Skaii focused her energy through her staff, concentrating again.

"Try the spell your staff has, the Fairy's Moonlight one," he said and cast his spell again causing another eruption at his feet but smaller this time. Skaii connected her thoughts with her staff, repeating the words Fairy's Moonlight in her head and released her spell. The spell quickly wrapped Jacy in a sparkly silver light. Jacy was almost immediately healed and back on his feet.

"Very good, try out your Thorn Wind too... not at me though I've hit myself enough already" he smirked. Skaii giggled a little before concentrating her spell in the opposite direction, quickly getting used to how long she needed to channel her spells to reach maximum effectiveness. Her Thorn Wind caused dust to lash through the air carrying with it countless sharp thorns. Jacy smiled.

"Looking good, you'll have to learn what else your Sacred Gear can do for yourself, and I'm sure you'll think up some more good spells. I'm impressed, you've picked up a lot quite quickly" He praised her, She smiled happily.

"Thank you, I promise to work hard for you," She said shyly. Jacy stepped closer to her and lifted her chin.

"I'm sure you will," he smiled. Skaii blushed bright pink, turning really shy. Jacy smiled and patted her cheek gently before letting her go.

"Come on, let's go back inside, see who's ready to go out on a summon," He said. Skaii followed Jacy excitedly.

Once they got back to the clubroom, Misty came over to meet Jacy.

"Believe it or not the Twins actually got a pact tonight," She said in mild shock.

"Really? They didn't just steal something and say it was for a pact" Jacy asked, suspicious. The Twins skipped up happily.

"Nope," Belle said.

"Not this time," Glace said.

"Our clients wanted payback on someone," Belle said.
