arias pov:

it was the next day and it was almost time for my date with henry.

not gonna lie, i'm kinda nervous..

like i said, i never been on a date before.

I was in my room getting ready for my date and i was wearing this:

i put it on and walked over to my mirror and looked at myself until i heard a knock on my door.

"come in." I yelled.

my dad walked in.

"hey cupcake!"

I turned around and smiled.

"wow you look very beautiful ari." he smiled.

"thanks dad." I smiled back.

"i had a talk with henry.."

"oh god." I said as i looked the other way.

"and i told him all of the rules."

"what rules?" I asked as i crossed my arms.

"you know stuff.."

I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"can you please leave now so i can finish getting ready?" I asked.

"oh of course!"

i laughed.

he walked out and I finally finished.

I exhaled as i looked at myself in the mirror again and i slowly twirled.

"I look nice!" i whispered to myself.

I giggled and walked out of my room.

I walked downstairs and I saw henry and my dad talking.

my dad looked at me and then tapped on henry's shoulder.

he turned around and faced me.

he looked speechless.

"hey." he smiled.

"hi." I said as I walked to him.

he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

I giggled and and blushed.

"ready?" henry asked.

I nodded and smiled.

"have a nice time guys!"

"alright!" we both said as we walked to the elevator door.

"WAIT!" my dad yelled.

we both rolled our eyes and turned around and crossed our arms.

"yea?" we both asked.

"your gumballs!" he said as he held our gum tubes.

"ray, we won't be needing those it's a date!"
