Kageyama took one step into the gym and instantly regretted it. There he saw, his weekly crush. Tsukishima Kei. Why did he like him? At least his previous crushes were reasonable. This one is so random. He would feel his heart beating out of his chest when they were near.
"KAGEYAMA!" His hyper best friend yelled.
He got ignored. He looked at his best friend, he looked... Dazed. He's never seen Kageyama like that. But ignored it. That doesn't mean he gave up on getting Kageyamas attention. He quickly grabbed a ball and threw it at Kageyamas head. That quickly got his attention.
"WHAT THE HELL DUDE?" The raven-haired teen yelled.
Hinata quickly realized he was fucked.
"UHM, I NEED TO USE THE RESTROOM?" Hinata quickly yelled and got out of the gym.
Kageyama sighed. Then muttered 'Gee way to make a fool of me...' Before he could finish his thought process Daichi called the team over and guess what Hinata suddenly appeared again. Kageyama glared at Hinata. He heard Tsukishima snicker and a light blush spread across Tobio's face.
"Damn it you're so embarrassing." Kageyama said to Hinata.
"Well sorry! Who are you trying to impress anyways?" Hinata asked really wanting to know the answer.
"Nobody! Your just being stupid and-"
"KAGEYAMA AND HINATA! 3 LAPS AROUND THE GYM LISTEN NEXT TIME" Their Capitan Sawamura Daichi yelled.
Kageyama and Hinata both groaned and quickly finished their laps. After getting a little drink they started their 40 serves across the net. Kageyama obviously finished first. Hinata was the second to last to finish. The last one was none other than Tsukishima Kei. Sugawara pulled Kageyama to the side.
"Kageyama can you please help Tsukishima with his serves? Hes only made 27 over the net! At this rate he will be here until afternoon practice!" Kageyama hesitantly agreed.
Kageyama started to walk over. He heard his Capitan tell the rest of the team to start doing 20 sets in a row to the wall. He and Tsukishima groaned, one of them being because he had to miss his favorite part of practice for this and the other one out of embarrassment.
"What do you want Tobio?" The taller blonde questioned in annoyance
"I'm here to help."
"Well, I don't need your help!" The blonde threw the ball up and hit a net ball. "Okay maybe I need some help."
Kageyama grabbed a spare ball.
"Well first of all your toss is wrong, try just tossing Infront of you, toss it close to your body but don't let it touch your body."
Tsukishima threw the ball up and let it fall, he did it around 5 more times.
"You also need to follow through with it." Kageyama demonstrated by doing a serve.
Tsukishima tried, it hit the top of the net but still made it over. 'Getting better' Kageyama thought. After around 5 more minutes they finished and caught up with the rest of the team. Practice finally over, the team was exhausted, and they still had school and afternoon practice. As they were getting ready to leave Tsukishima pulled Kageyama to the side.
"Thanks for the help I guess...but don't tell anyone I told you this" The blonde said.
Kageyama was in shock. And agreed. After Tsukishima left Kageyama's face turned into a tomato.
Maybe he isn't so bad after all?
