Y/N's POV
After the entire mess in Europe is finally over, the squad was sent back home along with many other American soldiers. Right now, we are currently at our home barracks packing up our gear.
"Not gonna lie, I'm gonna miss this." Christian said in kind of a sad tone.
"Miss what?" Chris asked him.
"Heh, our moments together, and the thrill of the action!" Christian responded to him.
"Yeah, we've been through alot together, haven't we?" I asked the others.
"Indeed!" Chris responded to me.
We finally finished packing up our stuff and after that we take one last look at our barracks before leaving it for the last time before we retire from the military. Yes, it really wasn't easy for us to make this decision but all of that action your gonna want to settle down due to exhaustion.
We all walked to the General's office and we knocked the door before we are allowed to enter in and once we do. We are greeted by the General and we each took a seat.
"So this is it, right boys?" The general asks us.
"Yes, sir." Zachary responded to him.
"In that case, it was great honor serving with you all! You all have done a great service to us and thanks to your help with our forces, we have finally put the war in Europe to an end! You all deserve it and I wish you all the best! Dismissed!" The general said to us and we all leave the office.
"So what are your guys plans?" Zach asked all of us.
"I'm heading back home in Texas, probably just go back to farming again." Christian said as he scratches his head.
"I'll be moving back to Philadelphia my family is waiting there. What about you?" Chris asked our leader.
"Same I have a family back at home in Washington, I'm actually starting to get homesick after all this time." Zachary responded to him.
"What about you Y/N?" Christian asked me.
"I'll be going back to my home country which is Korea and I'll retire and settle down from there." I explained to the others and they nod.
"Well, guys even if we're miles away from each other will still can stay in touch." Chris said to us as he gives us each a beacon device just in case we run into trouble we can't handle alone.
"If you ever need us, just signal us." Zachary explained and we nod.
"I guess that's it then guys, will see you all in the other side!" Zachary said and we all smiled to each other before we say goodbye to each other.
After we said our farewells we went our separate ways. Once the taxi has arrived I put my luggage in the trunk and the driver starts up the car and begins driving off.
10 Minutes Later...
The taxi arrives at the airport entrance and I paid the driver before getting my luggage out of the trunk and the taxi drives off. I take one last look at the city before turning around to the entrance.
I wake inside and I head to the receptionists.
"Hi, how can I help you?" The receptionists asks me.
"Where is Flight 482?" I asked her and she goes through the files.
"At gate 25! Have a safe trip!" She tells me and I thanked her.
