Harry was awaken by the knocks of a tiny bird against his window. "Pigwidgeon..." He thought. "What time is it?" The clock on the wall indicated 8:16AM. He sighed and got up, trying his best not to wake Draco up.
"Good morning Harry!
I hope I didn't wake you up!
I'm glad to hear that everything went well. Don't worry too much about the bond restrictions and the pain Draco could feel at some times, it will stop soon - depending on your strengths. Let's call it an adaptation phase.
I guess you slept together tonight, there was nothing you could really do to avoid it. Wish him a good morning from me too!
Affectionately,
Padfoot."
Harry smiled. "Of course you woke me up, stupid padfoot." He let the parchment on the table. "I'll answer later." He thought. He gave a treat to Pigwidgeon, sending him off, and headed back to bed.
As he was snuggling under the covers, he heard a growl. He turned around and met grey eyes staring at him.
"Hey, did I wake you?"
Draco shook his head.
"How are you feeling?"
"Good, I think." He smiled and his ears gently twitched.
"I'll try walking away, you tell me when it starts to be unbearable, alright?" Harry smiled.
Draco nodded and he got up, walking slowly towards his desk, then his couch, then his wardrobe and finally, the bathroom.
"You're alright?"
Draco hummed.
"I'll get in the bathroom and close the door."
"Alright."
Harry locked himself up and they waited for something to come. Draco's stomach made a knot and he felt alone. Just having Harry out of sight made him miss him. He sighed.
"Harry?"
"Yeah?" Answered a muffled voice.
"Come back."
He opened the door and jogged towards the bed. "Is everything okay?"
"Well, it doesn't hurt but it's still... Unpleasant. As soon as you're out of my sight, I can't help but miss you." He sighed again.
"It's alright, let's stay close until you get used to it."
Draco nodded and stretched. It was time to get out of bed. As he was waiting, Harry started getting dressed. Draco winced at the sight of the worn out and distasteful clothes.
"What is this?" He gasped. "I can't believe I never noticed how bad your fashion sense is. And Sirius did nothing about it? It's not possible. Let these things go, I'll lend you some clothes."
"What?"
"We're going to Hogsmeade, or we'll apparate to Diagon Alley from there. You need a new wardrobe."
"Draco I-"
"Shhhh. I'm not giving you a choice. Come."
Harry wanted to retort something, but his lips were glued together and his legs started moving on their own, making him follow Draco to his room. He chose him black jeans, a maroon sweater and boots.
"Boots?"
"You're not wearing these sneakers of yours."
Harry started too laugh. "I'll look super weird with these clothes on. I'm sure they'll be too tight and too long."
